We stopped here for a quick lunch and it was a great stop. The service was excellent as was the environment and the food. We had the Cuban sandwiches. YUM! Would definitely recommend. When I looked at other's food it all looked incredible.

We've been in San Juan for five days and have eaten at this restaurant twice. The mojitos are the best we've had on the island and the empanadas were amazing!! The arroz con pollo and steak were both equally good. The waiting staff is top notch and our waiter Yvonne was off the charts!! He really made our visits incredibly... More

Sat at the bar ordered wine and this dish. Everything came very quickly and though the restaurant loud my corner of the bar was cozy. The food was delicious.

We were staying at the Sheraton so this was a short walk from our hotel. We had a group of seven of us and several had the chicken with yellow rice. The portions were generous. My wife had the red snapper and enjoyed it very much as well. I had the paella and it was delicious. It had seafood as... More

After walking about Old San Juan and checking out possible places for a later dinner we decided upon the Parrot Club. We were welcomed in to a very nice space by our server Ivan who was very friendly and attentive-- fussing with the table and keeping our water and drinks filled. The food was delicious--my husband had the paella and... More

We visited February 2017, after walking Old San Juan all morning. We picked this restaurant because it appeared to have a good atmosphere and good local menu. We were not disappointed. Food was great, drinks were good and service was good. Quiet, air conditioned restaurant. Location is great, right in Old San Juan easy to walk to. I recommend it.

It is spacious, clean, with professional and courteous waitstaff. I have eaten here at least 3 times. Prices are typical for Old San It is located in the South/East "corner" of Old San Juan so you might stop here at the start or end of your walk through Old San Juan. The food is fine, if unremarkable. Drinks were equally... More

When my husband and I went to San Juan, Puerto Rico for a cruise we chose to go one day early and stay in Old San Juan and wanted to experience more of traditional foods. Plus after a long plane ride we were very hungry and wanted something that would hit the spot. We chose to go to The Parrot... More

The Parrot Club is a nuevo Latino bistro and bar in the SOFO area of Old San Juan on Fortaleza Street. The Parrot Club is a longtime favorite of locals and visitors who enjoy a fun, friendly atmosphere, delicious Latin flavors and wonderful cocktails.Established in 1996, The Parrot Club quickly became a San Juan classic and a SOFO standard. Featuring innovative nuevo Latino cuisine from Chef Guillermo Gonzalez, the Parrot Club's menus spice up classic Latino dishes by combining fresh, local ingredients with modern culinary preparations. This results in flavors that are fresh and exciting. Try the Ropa Vieja Nachos, Pan Seared Shrimp with Arroz Chifa and our own Chocolate Coco Tres Leches. The impressive long blue bar is a scene in itself. Don't miss our world famous Parrot Passion, a frozen blend of Bacardi Limon, fresh orange and passion fruit juice or our classic mojitos. The Parrot Club was designed to take advantage of the colonial architecture of the building with its huge archways and tall beamed ceilings. The colorful art and design is vibrant and happening. Look into the open kitchen or step out to the lovely palm filled courtyard, perfect for private events or dining under the stars. With live Latin Jazz, a terrific weekend brunch, and family friendly lunch daily, there is always something going on in this exciting restaurant.
