My husband’s coffee was not hot. The seats are without cushion. Not too comfortable. My coffee was good. There is a slight aftertaste when you have the coffee. The ambiance is kind off chilling.

I am always on the lookout for high quality coffee. Working on cruise ships means I've visited a lot of Caribbean islands and I've not found anywhere half as good as Don Ruiz. Great coffee, nice staff, lovely building but above all great coffee.

This place is ridiculous. I asked for a basic order of food. I WAITED AN HOUR for it come out. PLENTY of mediocre plates came out before mine, fairly simple plates. This was during lunch time... CLEARLY they cannot manage their menu. IF YOU ARE...More

Don Ruiz is located in the building that also houses the museo de las americas. It’s a nice little coffee bar and mini roastery. They brew coffee coming from their own finca in the southwest of the island. And it’s really excellent! The owner was...More
