I eat waffles almost everyday for breakfast, and very rarely any other meal time. At Waffle-era you can enjoy it any time of day. It is one of a kind, sort of "gastronomic art", so to speak. My husband tried the smoked salmon on waffles, (of course) on the "lunch" menu and I had the breakfast waffle with berries, bananas,... More

The Waffle-era tea room had amazing waffles and drinks. The savory waffles can't be missed. Waitstaff was wonderful and food delicious. Hibiscus, mango or orange mimosas, stuffed eggs with waffles and a choice of so many ingredients for toppings.

The service was simply awful. They couldn't meet our needs. We have one family member that couldn't eat eggs. First they said they could fix her something to eat, but then they couldn't. Was a terrible experience. The employees need better training and customer service.

Yep, and if I could have eaten two, I would have. Excellent combinations of waffles for sweet and salty preferences. Topped with poached eggs, the "Big Breakfast" was the best part of my morning... next to waking up with my lovely wife that is, who could not finish her full plate of "Pami's Breakfast" waffles, so I had to help... We stumbled upon this place while walking in the old city of San Juan and were pleasantly surprised at the unique combinations of ingredients and the artful presentation of all kinds of waffle meals. You traditionally think of waffles as a breakfast smothered in syrup or berries ... yes, you can have that too but think goat cheese and balsamic... More

Lovely, civilized tea-room atmosphere. Nice soft jazz, comfortable banquettes and warm breezes of fans overhead. wonderful mosaics on the out side of the building welcome you to an calm oasis from the tourists and the heat. The Pizza type waffles are very interesting, the ingredients are fresh and nicely combined. We have the one with Serano Ham and goat cheese... More

We decided to try this place since it had been mentioned to us as a very good place for breakfast. The waitress was a very pleasant and quick to respond to anything we needed.
