If you visit San Juan do not miss this place. Come on Friday 7 pm, enjoy one of the best food in Puerto Rico, then walk into the Placita have some drinks and dance salsa until you drop dead. Do no drive back, since you gonna be drunk! The food is superb. Starters like chistorra, piquillos or boqueron are fantastic.... More

Located in the famous Placita de Santurce, I would only go there during the day because the lack of parking and how crowded the area can be. Now they have valet parking, but at night it can still be a nightmare, so go by Uber. Every time I come here I am in no rush, and regularly spend 2-3 hours... More

Enjoyed fresh seafood for reasonable prices. Fresh tuna Lobster Octopus All tasted differently so the chef knows how to cook. Really juicy and fresh taste. The restaurant is opposite a market hall and in a very nice area. Service was good as well. Paid 90$ for 2 incl tip.

We haphazardly ended up in this restaurant after walking by the tables and seeing a pyramid of squid ink rice. It was really good food at a fair price. Fresh whole fried fish is the ticket. The fried sardines were great. The shining star, however, was the mixed seafood appetizer (cold, in an olive oil marinade). It was very, very... More

the server must have been waiting on fifty tables as everything took forever to accomplish. We put our name in for a table and waited about 15-20 minutes. When a table was free outside we sat at it in case someone else just walking by did not know that we were waiting. The waiter never even noticed us sitting because... More

Ate dinner there outside on Sunday night with hubby. They were out of their signature dish whole fried red snapper, so we started with fish empanadas, and shared the doral al ajo ( mahi with garlic) with beans and rice. Excellent and authentic as a person who lived in P.R. as a kid and knows how food here should taste.... More

I've reviewed El Pescador previously, and simply have to say that I love it. Try the tuna tacos and the salmon, among many other of its culinary delights. Remember to read the price per pound prior to ordering, and prepare yourself for the best seafood experience on the Island. You just can't get better fish than at Tasca El Pescador's.

We sat outside late on a Sunday night. The atmosphere inside was nothing special but sitting outside in La Placita, even on a quiet(ish) night was a joy. The staff was very attentive. The food was our favorite meal of the trip. The fish and vegetables were unbelievably fresh and perfectly prepared. I love crab legs but he doesn't because... More

The restaurant is easy to find; it is in the heart of Santurce Mercado in San Juan. Excellent, excellent, excellent. Service, food ,price. I do recommand specially the red snapper, witch you will have chosen first among a lot of fresh fish. Have it cooked " à la plancha", ( on the grill). Best fish I had since a long time.... More

The food was Ok, we have dined before in other trips to Puerto Rico. This time the attitude and service were terrible. Starting from the waiters to the lady at the cashier. You had to beg to order and also to get your bill. The place was full but not as bad as other times. We noticed other tourist like... More
