Chose to eat here after a tiring day of sightseeing primarily because in the evenings it occupies the street at the door of our hotel. The service was good but the food and drinks were just average.

The food was ok (nothing stellar), but the service is a bit slow. Don't expect a lot of food for your money, but it was an ok place to stop and eat on a Sunday afternoon.

We sat at the bar here for an afternoon drink, we met a few of the locals who had all kinds of wonderful stories about the pub and it's history. The pub has memorabilia on the walls and is very colorful. The service was great and the staff very friendly, the neighborhood is very walk able and we enjoyed our... More

We had lunch at El Parnaso while strolling on Calle de Cristo, which is one of the best areas of Old San Juan. The place caught our attention due to the street cafe option. The place becomes super crowded during meal times as it has a great vibe, is located right by the ocean and has great food and drink... More

This place is in the main area of old San Juan, includes a street cafe as well. I sat down with three others and it started to rain, so they moved us inside. We were anxious to try local snacks and the server recommended the BORIMEX, which is a mix of Puerto Rican sample and Mexican Antojitos. What a GREAT... More

We just stumbled across this place while out exploring Old San Juan and needing some lunch it looked good, so we decided to have lunch here. We were not disappointed they had menus in English and a English speaking waitress who was very helpful, the menu had some great dishes on it so choosing was not easy, but we were... More

Second time we have been to eat lunch here on two different ships. They have nice seating outdoors and the service is good and the food is delicious. Simple and easy to read menu with many drinks . What else do you need?

Situated close to Parque Las Palomas and the Capilla del Santo Cristo, El Parnaso was our first stop for lunch on our arrival in Old San Juan. It was a solid meal, with ground beef burrito and quesadillas. But what pushed it to four stars was the queso fundido, a melted cheese dip with chorizo - a must try especially... More

Count me in. Order some beers, margaritas or whatever and sit outside. Feel the breeze and see everyone walking. This is its best feature. Food is OK but have attended many times for drinks with friends and couples dates but always seating outside which is the best part of the experience.
