Stopped in here with our local friends. Had a great time! Great tunes, dancing, pool tables and drinks. Hard not to have "just one more!" If your looking for a quiet place, this might not be it. It was pretty rocking when we were there. Good party vibe. Good Price, Great Service, Washrooms were good. Had some awesome grilled chicken... More

nice friendly bar, visited in the afternoon, felt a little hollow, more like a pool room or a nightclub during the day, nice enough to stop for a drink though.

When we visited Jamaica we went into the pub a few times and found the English owners extremely friendly and chatty. Great atmosphere / karaoke night & always made to feel welcome. Highly recommended if you're in the area. We visited in 2015 and they just opened the food stall attachment out front. We tried the jerk & was delicious.... More

The owners, Gail and Trevor left months ago for England, leaving The British Bulldog in local hands. The club closed it's doors a few weeks ago. It's future is uncertain.

Went for a couple of drinks for a change of scenery from the hotel one evening. 5 of us went and we all had ice cold Red Stripe at a very reasonable price, we sat outside (although it can feel a little like being on the M6 at times!) and they cranked the music up for us. Had fun chatting... More

Was staying all inclusive at a nearby resort. Ventured outside to meet the locals and get the feel of Jamaican culture, so glad I did as going to the bulldog was a welcome relief from the luxury. Met Smoking Joe a ganja farmer who's prices and quality out weighed the the staff at the hotel. Also Dave a friendly street... More

Nice to get out of the Decameron complex and see something a bit less sanitised. All sorts of people approach you as you sit outside (which you inevitably have to as the music inside is so loud) but none were threatening.
