This restaurant has a menu, but if you come here forget that and just check what is available! As both can vary dramatically. You need to expect to wait for service - whether it be food or drink. So if you are in any hurry don't come here. Don't be afraid to send food back if it's not hot. The... More

The restaurant is right on the water. It has most tables overlooking the water. The food was average. We had fried fish and fried chicken with rice.

Try this restaurant on advice from a local couple we got chatting to. We were a group of 4. The place wasn't full so lots of table to choose from. We all had different dishes. 2 going for chicken the other 2 choosing fish dishes. All mains came with a choice of sides. All the food was tasty, good size... More

When I went there it took for ever to get 4 cups of sodas because I was told many of their dink they don't not have. But that's not the worst part it took a whole 2 hours almost to get 4 plates of curry shrimp with rice and peas. To make it worst the shrimps were over done and... More

Anna Banana has enough variety to satisfy most visitors. The food is well cooked and service fairly prompt. The pricing is appropriate. There is not a lot of choices in Port Antonio and Anna Banana fills a gap very nicely. Parking can be tight at times.

Ordered some takeout at 7:00pm and was told they only had one leg and thigh left out of the 4 i needed. Then the fish was totally burnt. The rice and Peas was like scrapings from the bottom of the pot. it was clumpy and burnt. Maybe i ordered too late but totally not impressed at all.

It's hard to find any place open on a Sunday in port Antonio. Anna Banana advertises breakfast and was open, so we checked it out. It was around 10/10:30. They weren't really ready to open. We were offered fish or BBQ chicken or to make an omelette. It was very plain, couple eggs and thin sliced bell pepper. It did... More

Jamaican food is quite nice in theory, but not so much in practice. Here we encountered three of the typical problems. Over cooking of meat and fish (my king fish steak was like shoe leather) and over use of Maggie seasoning packets. My goat curry was over powered by it. Lastly poor, slow and inattentive service. I had to fetch... More

We waited a loong time for some very bad tasting food. I had a little stone in my food, and my husband had a dead fly in his. They had just a few opions of what was on the menu.

The food was amazing and you get a decent portion , but I would have to say I thought it was over priced. The restaurant it self was nice and its a nice walk along the water from town.
