We went for the food and stayed for the dancing. New Years Eve overlooking the ocean. Fireworks, music, and friends. The perfect place for young adults. If you love the laid-back atmosphere then this is not the place for you. Youth doing everything leaving the week behind and staying in the moment. This dance floor fill up within a blink.... More

We greatly enjoyed the open-air bar. The beer was cold and the price was good. Our bartender was lazy. The other employees were working hard while he watched soccer. Our food took at least 30 minutes, which was no big deal, but my order was incorrect. The supervisor graciously removed it from the bill. My husband devoured his red snapper.... More

pier One on the beach downtown Mo Bay is one of the most talked about soot for Jamaican youth especially on the weekends. The food is world class and the entertainment on weekends brings together locals and guests together to experience night life on the Bay. A restaurant for family , business and just about any function.

Visited with friends for dinner when we wanted a change from the mediocrity of our all-inclusive. Kind of a miss. Good: - The restaurant has open air atmosphere and is on the water, abundant parking. Average: - Service is slow and indifferent. Typical for Jamaican culture. Americans unaccustomed to such attitudes will think it a terrible experience. Bad: - I... More

We dined here for lunch and thought the location was nice. It's on the water and the views are great. They have live entertainment but there was none during our visit. The food was average and the service was quite slow. Everyone in Jamaica is on island time so I've come to expect that.

We were eight persons that went here to celebrate my mother's birthday. The service was really slow as usual in Jamaica. When the server had brought in the food there was no interest in checking if it was fine. It wasn't for most of us. Do not pick the creamed potatoes, it tastes of chlorine. The promised gluten-free oxtail stew... More

Hello, There is never an excuse for poor service and as you may see from past reviews we have been serving our patrons well. We are in the process of placing our staff through a service refresher course so that this does not happen again. Please don't hold this experience against us and allow us to serve you and your... Pier 1 is Montego Bay's most pulsating open-air Seafood Restaurant, Bar and Entertainment Center that has been in operation since 1986. It is located on a picturesque peninsula in the heart of the bay allowing diners the perfect view for watching the cruise liners disappear into a brilliant sunset. Our restaurant is well known for its fusion of the intoxicating Jamaican Flavors by offering a wide variety of seafood dishes including the Pier 1 Lobster, our famous Coconut Shrimp and the Grilled Mahi-Mahi to name a few. For the lovers of the land, our menu captures the best of the Jamaican cuisine. From our perfectly Grilled Beef Tenderloin to the island favorite of Braised Oxtail, our vast menu has something for everyone. Like with our dishes, our four signature nights have found a way to fuse Jamaicans and Visitors by offering a unique entertainment package.
