St Francois is very French and I will say more French than anything. It's a beautiful place but in some ways I felt I was in a senior village. It's not for the young. While going to the local casino from the hotel there is don Camilo which has tables and parking. The pizza is basically the same throughout Guadeloupe yeast less crusts. Almost like a matzah or cracker with melted cheese. They did a rather nice vegetarian one and are reasonable. I also had found a hidden treasure around the bay called pizz's which is on the side street and opens at 5:30 while all other restaurants will not serve till 7 in the area. Make sure to go to hyper casino which is the local super market to stock a few items because the area closes down at by 2 and it's impossible for anything till 7 unless you find pizza. They run on European time and will sit by the bay for drinks and cigarettes. Very french
