We discovered this establishment and this team on 31/12/2023, the date of their first service. It was a wonderful New Year's Eve.
Our visit last night was a nice confirmation. We trusted Chef Eric by choosing the "surprises" menu and he spoiled us. Subtle and frank flavors in every dish. Extraordinary trip in this very pleasant setting.
We do not forget to note a special mention for Sylvie who guided us with knowledge and passion in their vast Burgundy wine cellar.

Happy New Year to the whole team and especially to this new version of L’Autre Version… la table d’Eric
Fresh, well-crafted products, delicious and generous plates, pretty dishes on a covered table, not to mention the quality of the service, frankly it's good for the taste buds and the morale.

Truly family-run (dad in the kitchen, mom and sons serving), authentic Dijon food. Peaceful and elegant setting—right on the beach. Comfortable seats and lovely dishes and glassware.
Food was out of this world. We liked it so much we had to squeeze in a second visit. Chicken (with morels), lobster, beef…all perfect both in taste and appearance. We weren’t supposed to be eating desserts (trying to lose weight!). Couldn’t help having them both nights. Very nice planters, champagne, and wine (we tried them all).
One son was our waiter both nights. Good English and a nice sense of humor. Wish we could move it to New York City! We need a great French restaurant like this.

We had eaten here in the past and enjoyed the food, but a change of ownership in November meant a change of menu and a new chef.
The service was efficient and professional, the atmosphere top notch even though the piano player is gone.
The amuse bouches were good, and the dessert was excellent.
Unfortunately the main dishes were very disappointing.
I ordered the chicken dish – fancy serving pot but once you took it out of the sauce and put it on your plate to cut it was very bland and tougher than you would expect for chicken. It was served with equally bland mashed potatoes. Fancy presentation, but bland.
My wife had the pork – huge chunk of meat of which half was inedible fat, and the flavours did not live up to what was promised.
Unless the meat courses on the menu change we will not be back.

You should know that the establishment changed owners in December 2023. All reviews posted beforehand are therefore no longer correct, because the menu and appearance of the establishment have changed.
This restaurant is, in our opinion, the most chic in Haute Terre, if not the entire island. Inspired by Burgundian gastronomy, it offers a choice of dishes that you will not find anywhere else in Guadeloupe. Add the warm welcome from the whole family and you will have an exceptional experience.
Unfortunately, we only discovered it on the last evening of our stay, where we would have returned with GREAT pleasure.

New decoration and very nice terrace, top service. Gourmet cuisine combining local flavors and traditional Burgundian dishes.

Certainly one of the best restaurants in Guadeloupe at the moment.
The setting is idyllic, the interior completely renovated with great taste and the staff takes great care.
As for the cuisine... a clever mix of local flavors without forgetting the chef's region of origin, Burgundy.

I recommend Eric's table! The dishes were delicious: meli melo of crab as a starter, fricassee of lobster and scallops, crème brûlée for dessert; a delight. The place is very pleasant with beautiful decoration and quality service.

We spent our last evening in Guadeloupe in this superb restaurant with its very friendly chef Eric. The welcome was charming, the meal absolutely delicious both on the sea side and on the meat side. Among other things, we ate one of the best yellow wine and morel chickens. After two weeks of over-fried fish and crushes, it felt very good to eat such exquisite dishes. There were 7 of us at dinner and I must admit that everything was perfect!
The welcome and the waiter at the top, very attentive and with hints of humor.
Four of us chose the 3-course menu, everything was really excellent and in good quantity. A 22/20 for dessert based on lemons..
