We had the lunch here, we served grilled fish and lobster (full menu at 40 euro including desert and starter), everything was amazing. If you comme late you may not get the lobster or any fish, just chicken. I recommend and for sure on the next vacation we will come back here.

Most of the restaurants in Guadeloupe aren't super exciting, but la Rhumerie du Pirate really works to give people an excellent experience. The food is delicious, the service is good, and I appreciated the creativity that went into the plating of the meals. They really try to add color and a bit of whimsy to the plate, which I enjoyed.... More

The best thing about the restaurant is the location otherwise the typical Guadeloupe food was nothing special, the service was slower than usual (although friendly). We would probably go back if we return to the island based on convenience more than anything

Typical Guadeloupe menu. Service was very very good, lobster a bit overcooked but everything else was fine. The view is what it is all about.

Four rules to follow: 1. eat seafood; skip the meat 2. focus on local rum drinks (they're not stingy on booze) 3. don't expect fast service 4. parle français

We reached "La Rhumerie du Pirate" by 1 pm ("we" being a crew of only 4), and alas, alas, couldn't get our rations before... 2.45!! The reason for this endless waiting time (as given by the not-even-smiling waitress): the preparation of 2 small trunkfish whose eyes we eventually had the pleasure of looking into!! On top of that, the other... More

Highly recommendable... i am sure for the rums too, although I 'only' had a Ti Punch. However the food was great and varied and the outdoor setting on the seafront below fabulous.

We went here following a recommendation from our hosts. Poor quality food with tough meat slow service and birds flying around as the cleared diners plates were left on bar counter encouraging birds.

This place mainly caters to the passing visitors to/from Pointe des Chateaux, it is located some 8km away from central St.Francois, you need a car to get there. Yet, despite being a predominantly touristic place, it is not a tourist trap and even some local patrons were to be seen during my visit. The menu is not very extensive and... More

We had an absolutely wonderful meal here coming back from the Pointe. It is located on the south side of the main road, you park up by the street, and walk down to the restaurant entrance. The restaurant itself sits waterside. There was a nice breeze blowing through. For lunch, they usually have a special "plat du jour" (plate of... More
