Stopped over for lunch and the staff was lovely! There were very attentive to all our needs as well as other customers. They adapted the kids menu and gave us plenty of advices and informations about the menu. The food was very slow to come over (about one hour) but if you have time and want to chill (which we did) it’s a lovely setting near the marina. The kids’pizza were cooked first and were both lovely. The mains -burgers and tartare of fish were nice as well - a little bit more seasoning of the fish would have been nice.
Ice creams were lovely .
Overall very good value for money and great service.

We shared cocktails which were good with very good tapas.
The fish rillettes and the chicken chiqueaille could have benefited from a little more seasoning because they lacked taste.
Ouassous summer remains nothing to complain about.

We were on a walk around the pleasant harbour when we came by Quai 17 which looked really nice and offered something for everyone in our party.
We ordered pizza for the kids. When asking if it was possible to share a big pizza the waitress referred to a small text on the menu where it says that it is not possible to do so (why??? To be service minded should be one of the main rules for a service institution like a restaurant - it’s possible in many other places around the globe!).
We ordered some drinks which came quite quickly. The rest of the food didn’t appear for almost 90 minutes! We were ignored and only on repeating requests we were told that there were so many take-away orders that it wasn’t possible to serve us earlier. Couldn’t the waitress told us? The personal could really take some lessons in communication! We can absolutely not recommend this place and will never come back!

Nous vous remercions unanimement pour cet avis et cette mauvaise note. Nous apprécions particulièrement ces manières de "savoir-vivre" ou de communication que vous partagez en grand "donneur leçons". Nous devons alors vous rappeler que chaque restaurant reste libre de son service, (pourquoi comparer à "partout dans le monde" ou dans votre monde? ). Ce,qui n'est pas surprenant est votre manière de vouloir donner des leçons, y compris de communication ! Concernant le personnel, devons nous nous excuser de manquer de personnel aussi ? Nous ne répondrons pas ici pour nous plaindre, mais devons constaté un manque de "fair-play", et d'analyse de votre part, mais vous en avez tout à fait le droit. Nous sommes donc heureux de vous répondre que nous ne pouvons malheureusement pas plaire à tous, que nous sommes un restaurant populaire de la Marina de Saint-François et que qui dit "populaire" indique bien que cela ne convient pas à tous, mais en tous cas à une clientèle fidèle et solidaire, mais aussi une clientèle touristique qui trouve son compte à travers une carte variée, un service apprécié. Un clientèle dotée d'un minimum de compréhension concernant notre équipe qui est en plein renouvellement. Nous vous invitons donc à visiter nos nombreux confrères et resterons attentifs à vos futures appréciations éclairées !

I didn't expect a busy restaurant by the marina to serve nice freshly produced light meals but my calzone was really good. The service too was very friendly.
The couple on the next table were unfortunately both smoking ( with their baby and child) but I'm not sure they were breaking the law as it is an open restaurant. Other smokers had the courtesy to smoke outside. Perhaps a clear NO SMOKING sign would help.

The entire Quai 17 team thanks you for your excellent mark and for your comment. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by smoke from a nearby table. Our restaurant is effectively fully open, benefiting from natural ventilation, and we make sure to place smokers on the most "outside" part of the terrace, but a slight "turning" wind can nevertheless propagate the smoke on the neighboring part of the room. Quai 17, a restaurant that stands out from the others for its location. An elegant and comfortable sunny terrace at the very beginning of the Marina St-Francois promenade. The dining room with its relaxed atmosphere offers you a varied menu with tasty dishes with the aromas of Guadeloupe. The portions are generous, refined and subtle cuisine, a gastronomic experience beyond my expectations. Freshness on the plate and happiness in the mouth. The service is excellent and the hostess gives us all the time we need to enjoy our meal. If you arrive for dinner around 11:30 a.m., you will see the kitchen brigade eating dinner and preparing for meal time. Passionate young people who take their work and the success of the company to heart. The owner is on site and chats with customers, which is very appreciated. Prices are reasonable. Delicious mussels marinière, fish burger and fresh fish of the day, Kebab pizza rich in aromas. The ideal place for a dinner with friends.

Simple and efficient ! Good atmosphere here, relaxed. Friendly waitress with good advice. Simple and generous dishes... and rather economical for the site! We opted for the Beef Tartare at 22 euros, Côte de Provence at 23 euros (very decent for southerners ;) and frozen desserts at 8 euros (special mention to the Liège Pineapple). All very good and without frills. In short, we had a good evening without breaking the bank... and so we will come back ;)

If you're looking for Caribbean flavor, go ahead, it's French food! No person of local origin except for the pizza probably a bias of the manager. The one who is responsible for finding you a place puts you next to a charming trash can for an evening... And if you want a bottle of beer, you ask for the glass. Please can I have the wifi code (oh, is there wifi?). There, all is said.

Vous commencez fort, pour nous faire constater un soucis de cible, mais aussi de vue : Nous ne revendiquons pas du tout d'être un restaurant créôle, mais plutôt internationale, (pizza, burgers ne sont pas spécialement "français"), mais nous présentons clairement pour une grande majorité de client une carte ou vous trouverez des entrées, poissons et suggestions du jour sur la base des produits locaux. C'est donc une erreur de cible, puisque vous définissez ce que nous revendiquons et qui justement rend notre établissement si populaire . Là ou le problème de vue se confirme c'est au niveau du personnel : Nous avons une équipe très mélangée entre locaux et métropolitains. On va même répondre plus précisément : Si autour de vous vous avez un ami, quelque soit son origine, qui a envie de venir rejoindre notre équipe, il sera bienvenu ! (comme dans la majorité des restaurants en France qui manquent de personnel, comme vous le savez surement...ou pas). Cordialement

Very good place to finalize a stay in the region.
A simple but effective cuisine where everyone finds their tastes.
Top service and very good cuisine. Good understanding between the teams.
Price quality on the Marina very correct and above all it is open on Wednesday. You can fly back with a good happy end to your stay.

A very nice restaurant, a good discovery. A simple and generous menu, taste on the plate smiling at the service. And especially the price! 50c the syrup for children, the rest of the prices are very resonable for the place. We will not hesitate to come back by St Francis

In fact, it’s not Creole cuisine. But there's something for everyone.
The dishes are really good quality and reasonably priced. A delight !!!
We went there twice during our stay and never disappointed.
The staff is very pleasant and attentive.
Really nothing to complain about. If you want to eat well, go there with your eyes closed.

Vi beklagar din dom och din kommentar som gränsar till ärekränkning eftersom det är anklagande utan riktigt bevis. (Gubben på restaurangen är chef, och han är åtminstone 50 år... det är nog den tropiska värmen som verkade ge honom några extra år..., och vi ber om ursäkt. Tack också för att varna våra kunder som uppskattar våra anläggningar och är lojala mot dem att de har fel och att du har rätt, man vet aldrig, vi skulle kunna lägga vikt vid ditt humör.

Very pleasant meal, had mound marinier and my wife had a marinated chicken salad. The fritters were scratch cooked and tasted fantastic, the bread that accompanied the mouses was freshly baked .

Great food - visited here between Xmas and New Year - actually ate here New Year's Eve - definitely worth a visit if you're on the marina in Saint Francois. Friendly staff. Cocktails great.
