Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Beautiful establishment, patterns like the establishment, exceptional kindness, knowing how to take the time to explain to their customers, the composition of their dish, Catherine cooks wonderfully, Nicolas, advises wonderfully wines.
We started with tapas, temporas shrimp, toast of fat times, , smoked fish toast, followed by a duet of lobster, cicada, very tasty, fillet of Caribbean wolf top, fake fillet Limousin tataki way....honey....all this served with wine that Nicolas advised us as we don't know too much 🤭 for dessert, cheesecake coulis of 🍓, pavlova with exotic fruits, dark chocolate mousse, desserts are also prepared by Catherine...a killing.
We ended with a little digestive...Nicolas offered us one.....too top.....thank you.
We really had a great evening, with this Jazzy atmosphere.....
Many thanks to Mr and Mrs MABOUYA😀🥰🥰
See you very soon

It would be a shame not to stop at this restaurant full of local flavors.
Friendly welcome in a restaurant geared towards wine tasting. The local dishes are of rare flavor (divinely cooked lobster, sea bass and its sauce), even the accompaniments are tasty and tasty.
Perfect sauces to accompany meat, fish or lobsters.
Beyond the traditional planter, you can find a wide selection of wines at affordable prices to accompany your meal.
Don’t hesitate to speak to the oenology boss, you will be dealing with an enthusiast!
Thank you for this great time, our favorite restaurant of the week.

Excellent. In Guadeloupe you eat well in many restaurants but this one has something extra. Superb prawn tempura, very fresh fish with delicate sauces that blend Caribbean aromas with Mediterranean ones such as orange and passion fruit and finally a tarte tatin with a perfect sweet and acidic balance. A little more expensive than the average local restaurants, but the quality is there and the difference is justified

Let’s be clear; Guadeloupe generally is a very expensive place to visit. Markups for wine in restaurants in particular can hit over 400% and starters are often the same price as mains. However, this place takes the prize for being way ahead in price of anywhere else we ate in a 16 day stay. Yes, we had a bottle of white wine, 4 starters, another starter + 3 mains, desserts and other drinks. Yes, the food was very good, the service attentive and the restaurant has a pleasant feel/ambience. But, a total bill in excess of 300 euros; for 4. Was it worth that?
I would say not.

Excellent dinner! no doubt this is the best restaurant in St. Francois. Went with my girlfriend and her sister yesterday for dinner. We ate ceviche and catch of the day, incredible quality of the food, really high. The owner is a kind man from Paris, he clearly knows his thing, there is also an incredible huge cave of wines. The atmosphere is classy and sophisticated, you can feel the Paris touch inside the restaurant. We felt very welcomed, the owner was always paying attention to us. 10/10, recommended, will be back for sure!
Last but not least; desserts are home made, the apple tarte with salt butter and caramel is simply another level!

Mixed experience.
I called the day before to book for 4.
On arrival, my reservation request was not taken into account. Luckily we were there early and there was still room.
Very cold start to service from the waitress. It got better at the end.
Nothing to say about the tastes on the plates, very good. On the other hand, minimalist portions (duo of fish). Finally, 12€ for 4 small toasts of smoked fish…without even a little lime…oops…

If you have spent some time on the island you have seen almost all the restaurants have the save offer in term of food and drinks. This is not the case.
They have a compelling menù a good wine list and an awesome wine cellar you can admire while having your meal.

A family dinner of 5 adults that exceeded our expectations.
The restaurant was full and the limited staff (due to holidays) coped quite well.
We had both fish and meat dishes, and all were excellent.
The local cocktails were superb and the desserts were lovely.
We had such a nice evening, that we returned the following week for another dinner.

The only quiet place in St Francis to spend a pleasant and peaceful evening we had dinner several times with family and we feasted each time. Special mention to Catherine's lobsters! To be absolutely tested.

Finally a restaurant that offers more original dishes on the island, very appreciable for long stays. The dishes are researched, worked and excellent:-)
The welcome very friendly and setting also original and pleasant. I highly recommend!

The waitress is great... she should give advice to her two bosses to teach them politeness (say good evening for example) and learn to smile, because when you arrive and you are sitting at a table smoking outside and you are told good evening, a response is at least expected...
The kitchen is great, well done, well cooked, good cooking...In short, great.
The cheese plate sucks, especially for the price.
The wines are quite expensive.
In short, your rudeness makes people disappointed with your establishment.

We came here for dinner and it was just excellent. I went for the catch of the day which came with a fabulous fruity sauce, and the dessert special was just as good. Also unlike many places in Guadeloupe the service was brilliant as well. I would make a detour to eat here!

Back from vancances in Guadeloupe, I take the opportunity to share, my feedback on mabouya. I knew this place during a previous trip. We feasted!! Encore!!
Shrimp tempura 🍤 and papaya, crab ravioli with spices as a starter. Fresh roasted lobster (to fall 🤪). Dessert 😛frozen nougat.
I recommend for friendly and tasty dinner🌴.

I had the tuna for my entree, which was simply amazing. My dining companions had the sea bass and the special tuna tataki. We ate here twice during our 10 days on the island because it was so good. The desserts are also excellent and not what you usually see. They have English menus and their English is very good. The service was friendly and prompt. Large wine list.
