What a good address, rightly recommended by our hosts. Right next to Pointe-Noire beach, easy parking, the place is well known and appreciated, it is essential to reserve otherwise you will have to turn back. Both the welcome and the setting are friendly, and the local cuisine is authentic, tasty and well served. The punches are also excellent. So nice and good that we returned several times, welcomed like family!

This restaurant welcomes us in a family atmosphere with mother and son in the kitchen. The dishes are generous and out of the ordinary, the place frees itself from the classic Creole menu generally offered while retaining its Creole soul. I highly recommend this place on the Caribbean beach.

Quiet and idyllic place on the beach. Very pleasant staff. Delicious local cuisine, very well presented dishes. We had a blast! The address was given to us by the owners who were leaving the metropolis to take over the restaurant in Guadeloupe, I had promised the family that I would come and eat there during a stay there. Challenge met for both parties and no regrets! You can enjoy yourself with your eyes closed!

I can only recommend this establishment. So good that without booking you risk having to look elsewhere! Next to the beach, easy parking, the welcome is super pleasant, and the menu tracks arrivals: guarantee of freshness! Their punches and local specialties (acras, chicken colombo, ouassou, chatrou etc.) are delicious. So good that we were loyal customers there!

This restaurant won our award for slowest service of the holiday. And given slow service seems to be a feature of Guadeloupe this was quite an achievement. The food is ok, the usual menu of Creole food you see in most restaurants. There was nothing that makes this restaurant stand out over others though. Service took close to 3 hours for the set lunch menu, with a long wait to get even a drink. The service was at least friendly.

Visited Plage Caraibe on a Sunday and watched local children training for endurance sea swimming. Decided to look around at the 4 or 5 restaurants set back from the beach and approached Le Reflet because of its charm ( typical local "lolo"). The owner/waitress spoke good English and her charm persuaded us to reserve a table for noon - just as well because all tables were booked and many people were turned away. This was the busiest restaurant at the beach by far when we were there, and for good reason as the food was excellent and reasonably priced at 15 euros. My wife and I order the chicken colombo but when it was our turn we were told they were all out. I ordered the octopus with creole sauce and my wife had the prawns and were not disappointed. We had to wait for an hour before our food arrived but it didn't seem that long because of the ambiance, the presence of poultry running around and the efficiency of the charming waitress. Will definitely return.

Chicken Colombo, a local specialty, is the dish to try here (or any of the seafood, of course). Set on the Plage de Caraibes by the water. If you plan to have lunch, no problems, but if you plan to have dinner, be sure to call and make a reservation. Many of the restaurants in the area (especially along the beach) close after the day crowd leaves.

Delicious Creole specialties in a casual beachfront setting. Impeccably fresh local fish, perfectly prepared. Prompt, pleasant service – a white tablecloth experience in bare feet and bathing suits!

The best of the group of restaurants at the Plage Caraibe, Le Reflet is an open air, casual spot for very fresh accras and fish. Enjoyed the food, the friendly service and the strutting rooster which settled in the tree above us.

There was one woman doing all of the service, polite, efficient and on top of things. The food was delicious. Cooked perfectly. Great prices for delicious food. The local beach wasn't too busy. There were friendly cats and chickens ( a baby chicks) running around free.

We arrived that the Maison du Chocolat hungry, and the only thing to eat there was chocolate. They recommended Le Reflet, which is a short drive north on N2, turning into the parking area for Plage Caraibe. There's plenty of easy parking for the beach, and there are several restaurants lined up, each with outdoor dining areas. Le Reflet was clearly the busiest, and it's easy to see why. We had a party of 7, so we were able to move two tables together and relax with local beers and Ti Punch before ordering lunch. The lunch item specialties are shrimp and fish, and both were really good. The lunches come with ice cream for dessert, which was a great surprise. This place is really low key, with a few chickens strolling through, and an easy beach vibe. Server was professional - though if you are in a hurry, you would want to let her know. It's pretty relaxed there (for Americans like us, we have to adjust to a longer lunch). We ordered in French, but threw a little Anglais in as well, and there was not an issue. So if you don't speak much French, there are pictures of the major dishes, so you can work it out. If I am heading south from Pointe Noire again. I would definitely return to Le Reflet. And maybe spend some time at the beach as well. Also - we didn't have any children with us, but it would be fine place for young kids.

Disappointed. For a restaurant appearing first in searches on Pointe Noire .35 min before we get our drinks. At 1:00 there was no more chatrous. The wine was warm and the risotto too salty.
