This is a very nice restaurant. We came for lunch a little after 12:00 and the place quickly filled up. The menu and daily specials are interesting. The food is good. The service is friendly and accommodating. The decor is pleasant. And the cost is not really expensive. Although the outside patio is located right on the road, traffic, when there is any, is dead slow and noise is negligible You are unlikely to regret coming here. And you may wish to return if in Guadeloupe for a stay of more than a week or two.

In an air-conditioned room or terrace this small restaurant serves Creole dishes of good quality. Special mention for vegetable crashes. Very good ouassous with coconut tomato sauce as well as sea bream fillets coconut sauce. Friendly welcome.

The owner and her daughter are very welcoming, the restaurant is beautiful, warm and clean, the cuisine is my god!!! a delight... well presented, generous and I'm not even talking about the cocktails... In short, I go there regularly and it's the only restaurant where I leave with a full stomach. Very satisfied, I enjoy checking out because of the taste atmosphere I get what I pay for.... They are strong, courageous, generous women. Thank you for the experience, I will continue to come....

3 hours for aperitif and main course. Error in the order... We almost left before the dish. Like other customers... Apologies from the waitress, we have just started again, we are open this Pentecost Monday, but we are short of staff. Ok but not sure if I want to try it another day.

Very good time spent between girls (on the occasion of retirement). Everything was perfect from the aperitif to the dessert...I insist on the freshness of the ingredients...the tuna tartare was sooo good!! I recommend!!! Thank you for the atmosphere, for all your charming attentions and also the little visit from the chef at the end of the meal!!! We will come back!

The food was amazing and very delicious! every dish had its own special flavour and it was just perfect! when you visit guadeloupe, especially when you are around the area of bouillante : visit this restaurant. The service was great too (very humble and nice service & cook)

Grilled fish in curry and cocunut sauce

In our group of 4, two of us were delightful and 2 were disappointed. Culinary highlights: 1) grilled fish in curry and coconut sauce - absolutely divine. 2) Grilled chicken plate - savoury. Drinks were all delicious and staff were friendly. Credit card machine couldn't connect to internet so we had to pay cash. There is an ATM around the corner if you need.

This little restaurant on the west coast of beautiful Guadeloupe island is one of best in the caribbean. The staff is extremely friendly and tried their best to accommodate our request for dining even outside their opeing hours. They actually reserved 2 tables, to enable choosing should the weather (wind) change. The view to the sea on the west side of the island results in one of the most beautiful views when dining. The selection of menues and dishes is satisfying every taste - emphasis (of course) is on seafood (the lobster was one of the best ever tasted), beef staek was grilled to order and tender as can be, fries homemeade and souces added as taste explosion - unparalleled in the caribbean. Selection of beverages is small but fits meals perfectly. Prices really affordable to moderate, staff is serving before you even think of ordering (at least it feels like this :-)) . All-in-all, it would be a real miss not to visit this place when you are near Guadeloupe island - with sailboat or cruise you would anchor and let you pickup by local fisherman. You can actually just sail (or fly) there just for dinner - its definitely worth the detour ...

Nice restaurant with good food and personnel

Since none of the company is fluent i french language, we hade some problems ordering until the server asked if we knew spanish, which one of us did. Hade a variety of fish and seafood, all meals well combined. Only downside is that you have one lane of the N1 passing outside which during busier hours I imagine can be a problem since we were a bit annoyed at eveningtime

Best in Guadeloupe!

This place is amazing! The service is super friendly and they serve with a smile. Going the extra mile. Also, the food is delicious! Freshly made, portions are royal and tasty. We enjoyed our time having lunch at the terrace. Loving the relaxed atmosphere and the warm smiles of the staff. Even the chef dropped by to check if you were enjoying the meal. Must do! You will be coming back!

The most decent food in BasseTerre so far

We came in at 7pm being quite hungry. Our previous experience in LeGosier' restaurant didn't encourage us to go a-la-carte. We had four fix-price dinners $12(for 7 to),$16 and one $22. Exceeded our expectations. The fish was fresh and well made, the chicken came juicy and sides were really good. We had two pitchers of vin blanc which were very very drinkable for no-name wine. Having almost zero French we managed to communicate with a waitress just fine. Hard to believe but we spent there 2 hours enjoying the food and conversation.

So friendly, excellent meal .... be sure to make a reservation. Our waiter was very helpful and friendly and the chef, who took the reservation, was happy to squeeze us in on a very busy night for them. Food was excellent, superb fish dishes.
