We ate there today while in town. The food when it finally arrived was ok. The toothless waiter found it funny to make sexual jokes to my wife. The entire area smells of urine. The flies are terrible, the waiter tried burning napkins to chase them away but you can imagine that smelled great. The area is kind of suspect,... More

First time we visited this place we were blown away. We wanted a small lunch, so ordered a fish fillet and some chicken croquettes. What we received was a complementary appetizer with crisps and deep fried chicken, then our orders, of which the fish fillet was excellent followed by a complementary dessert with pineapple and banana. And then complementary mama... More

The location of the restaurant is a little shady but the restaurant itself is great and right on the ocean. Food was delicious and the hospitality was warm and friendly!

We went to captain cooks restaurant on March 23, 2017 while we were in Punta Cana. The appetizers were good and made me excited with anticipation for the main course but it was a fail. The plate had baby octopus, a whole grilled shrimp, two small lobsters, and 4 whole shrimp. The octopus were really salty and tasted like there... More

Our apple tour guide highly recommended this restaurant so on our last day we walked the beach & took a look. It was afternoon & looking to try it to say we had been there, done that. We only wanted an appetizer, however, miscommunication (be sure to get someone who speaks English, as we were told when our bill arrived).... More

Where do I start? This restaurant is the ideal beach front restaurant. It is casual and unassuming, but offers a real Dominican Republic experience. The food was excellent, the sangria was perfect, and the breeze off the ocean was the perfect setting. The tables and chairs are right on the sand. Perfect beach experience - not to mention the staff... More

The food was average. Not what I was expecting for the price. I was looking for more genuine culture cuisine this more commercial. The food took a long time to arrive, I ordered the seafood soup and my husband

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Punta Cana.I just ate here 2 weeks ago and it was fantastic. The fish is brought in fresh daily and sometimes just caught when you go in. I love that it is right on the beach so it's easy access when you are at a resort. The staff are wonderful... More
