About
Minitas Beach Club & Restaurant will provide a creative and versatile offering, based on Mediterranean and Latin culinary traditions, combining different these elements for a vibrant and captivating experience. Additionally, there will be a traditional a la Carte menu and “family style” dish options for large groups. The chef’s specialties will bring a dynamic element to the menu, where they will work to deliver top-notch options, ambiance and service. Among the new facilities, the extensive beach club will have a 23-meter infinity pool and a wide lounge area with bar – providing one of the best spots on the island to enjoy the sunsets! The space will be embellished with a live music program with local and international DJs along with a selection of cocktails with a selection of premium drinks and champagne.

I was one of 13 ladies who ventured to the Dominican Republic from all over the USA and Canada in Feb 2025 for the Faithful Workouts retreat held in Casa de Campo, in La Romana. We went out for dinner one night, to the Casa's own Minitas Beach Club & Restaurant. We sat at two different round tables, each with a fabulous view of the beach and sunset! Our tables were under a high roof and the atmosphere was beachy Bohemian. I ordered their linguini & clams (the pasta was amazing!) while others with me ordered the bbq ribs, the empanadas, and crab cakes, all with rave reviews. One of us ordered and shared the pavlova dessert which was so yummy! Highly recommend having dinner and/or drinks here!

A beautiful venue and top notch service. We started with 2 salads and there was more than enough to share them with our spouses. We had 2 orders of shrimp rolls with fries, one roasted chicken dinner that were delicious and one order of pulled pork and fries that was just a little disappointing.

Our family ate here twice. Both times it was truly amazing. The first we had ceviche, zucchini chips for appetizers, entrees were fried chicken sandwich, Greek salad, Mediterranean Brassino and salmon followed by the most amazing ice cream sandwiches. The next day we came crack to try the seafood paella. All was extraordinary. Waitstaff wonderful.

We went for dinner, around sunset. We had excellent service, and great food! 3 drinks (ranging $11-$13 each), two glasses of wine ($8-9 each), two entrees (Snapper fried fish ($30 USD) and Branzino ($32 USD), ceviche ($17 USD) and two desserts (peanut lava cake ($10 USD) and an ice cream sandwich ($4 USD) for $195 including tax and tip. If you are a fish person, absolutely get the branzino, it was one of the best prepared fish dishes I've had in recent memory! The snapper was also very tasty and the presentation was memorable.

Excellent service and a five star culinary experience. We visited for lunch one day and dinner another. The menu was exceptional and our server, Pedro Encarnación went above and beyond. His personalized service was what really set this restaurant apart from the others. Ocean views, a nice beach breeze and comfortable seating made this one of my favorite places to eat while in Casa de Campo. If you visit the area, this is a “must-do” restaurant.

We love Ruth E! She was our Waitress and did a great job of explaining the food on the menu. Great drinks, awesome views of the ocean. Beautiful styled! Ask for Ruth E of dinning here!!!

This is a beautiful spot for lunch to enjoy the view. The menu has a nice range of options which for the most part are well prepared. I have been here about a half dozen times and have had nice pasta dishes and seafood. Certainly a nice place for a group and leisurely lunch a bottle of wine or cocktails, dinner is nice too with pleasant sea breezes but lacks the view. Service has always been very good and the staff is very accommodating.
Overall worth a visit.

Hard to beat Minitis for lunch or dinner. Great salads (loved the Greek salad), seafood appetizers, and lighter fare for lunch. For dinner, excellent fresh seafood (snapper is amazing) and a selection of beef. Bartenders here are top notch with island cocktails and a good wine list. But overall the atmosphere really makes the place, idyllic beachfront dining.

This was our second time coming to Play Minitas while we stayed at Casa De Campo. It was a pleasure to stay here and the people serving us at the beach were so nice and attentive. Special shout-out to Danilo and Jesus who took great care of us and made sure that we were comfortable and always having a good time!
We will definitely be back.

Lovely setting, great service, nice food but bloody awful loud music. I don’t mind music and f it is good but this was totally amateur and definitely didn’t suit the clientele. Totally ruined our day,

Absolutely beautiful setting. Food, drinks and service were great. Highly recommend grabbing a coffee and smoothie and snagging a chair at the beach in the morning. Then have lunch at the restaurant and move to the adult pool for the afternoon. Prettiest place I've visited in the DR.

During our last night at Casa de Campo, decided to have dinner at this restaurant. We were seated promptly (we has a reservation through the hotel concierge). Once seated, we accessed the menu via qrcode. We order the seared feta and “fried” ceviche…. both were outstanding. For dinner we ordered the Minitas style Mahi mahi and the Brazino with tostones…. Great selection. Our serves were excellent, so a big shout out to Angel and Edward. We will be back!

Gorgeous place by the beach, superb food, and excellent service! We were in Casa de Campo 10 days ago and visited the restaurant twice. Both times we were helped by Emiliano Jean Rosario, the sommelier and staff member who was super kind, knowledgeable and friendly.
Would totally recommend this place to anyone!

I was at Casa de campo for a few days. The hotel and beaches were amazing. Everyone was very attentive and helped with all your needs. The food was delicious. Guilherme our waiter at the pool by the minitas beach. He was the best! Very attentive and brought our drinks quickly! Best service!

Going to Playa Minitas at Casa de Campo? Ask for Alexis at the Cocomar Minitas Beach Bar. Professional and attentive. We come several times a year and he always remembers us. Nice beach but better with good food, drink and service. Until the next time!
