Food and ambience

Situated high upon a hill at the harbor's entrance, Fort Nassau has a beautiful 360 degree view over part of the island and the city of Willemstad with the unique bridges that connect Punda and Otrobanda. At night a sea of lights stretches to the horizon offering a most spectacular view. Restaurant Fort Nassau offers "Casual Fine Dining". Lunch and dinner are served in the semi open-air restaurant. The historical setting and contemporary interior, breathtaking view, and good food, make your visit to Fort Nassau a memorable experience.

This place was, by far, the best dinner my friend and I had on the Island. The portion size was perfect and the dish flavorful. I would go back home n a heartbeat!

I'd read about the restaurant located in an old fort atop a hill, but I had NO clue how gorgeous the location is. And when you throw in excellent food (comparable to what I would get in San Francisco - also known for good food)...More

Fort Nassau is a nice restaurant with amazing views of the city. We tried the sampler menu and was delicious. Service was fast and people as most of the people in Curazao very friendly. Will come back again.

If only for the view alone this place would be worth going for lunch or dinner. It is an old fort protecting the island from who knows what, but converted into a fine dining establishment that makes the "price of admission" worth every penny. Side...More

About fifteen minutes. Get the same cab driver to pick you up when you are finished dinner. Ask the waiter to call the driver. He will be waiting at the door.
