Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Granted a lot of things off the menu weren't available, as is common in Cuba, but what we ordered was very good. Ceviche, an eggplant entree, and pasta Miglis for the meat eater. All were very good, as was the mojito. I would definitely come...back when there is live music. I liked the artistic decor and the service was friendly.More

Great food, friendly and helpful staff. Starter good, chilli for main course was delicious. I hope people take the time to find this little gem of a restaurant as it’s best we’ve visited.

Excellent quality, delicious food. Went for a late lunch. Ate a shrimp starter and Mexican chili for main with a fresh pineapple daiquiri. The service was excellent. The waiter was enthusiastic, friendly and helpful. Modern, trendy, clean decor inside. Definitely recommend. Central Havana area not...far from the Malecon.More

I went there for the salsa show. It’s like a off-off broadway show with a small stage. Dancers are brilliant, they were asking guests dance together on stage at the end, it’s fun! 35 cuc includes 1 hour show, 3 small tapas and 2 drinks.

Swedish flag on the street. We had to go and see what is this. The decor is elegant, modern and playful, not typical Swedish design. On the menu there are Swedish dishes, like classic Toast skagen that means creamy bread and prawns, steak a la...Rydberg, meatballs with mashed potatoes. The meatballs had excactly the Swedish good taste. I had spagetti. It was excellent, al dente. You don’t always get properly cooked past in Cuba.More

This is really nice restaurant with great decor. Worth a visit although from the area around you wouldn’t expect to find it. Great combinations of food and helpful staff.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review. The area is indeed a bit of a rough neighbourhood, but you culd also say lively and charming. :-) Glad to see the staff took good care of you guys.

The best thing about this privately own restaurant is the entertainment. Of course they brought me on stage to dance the night away. Ok, it really was for only one song, and I obviously I don't know how to dance, but the group I was...with thought this was hilarious. (I don't think the male lead dancer saw the humor in my dancing as he takes pride in his ability. But hey I tried!) As stated before, I came with my tour group which was about 24 of us. We were seated right by the stage, in fact we took up all the tables by the stage but this was on a Monday night, and they weren't that busy when we walked in. The owner came over, and introduced himself, and told us his story of how he made his way from living in Sweden to now Living in Cuba. This was an added touch, as he was very informative, and welcoming. Because we were such a large group we had a set menu. A choice of either/or. I chose the Crevice,Fish and Ice Cream. I don't remember what the other choices were. Service was good, and they went out of their way to accommodate the two vegetarians that were in our group, with a Lentil Soup, which looked amazing. I wish that had been one of the options. You don't want to miss eating here if you find yourself in Havana. Great fun, and great food.More

Took two school buddies for their first visit of Havana. Strolled down the Prado, took a left at the Malecón and walked up the stairs to Nazdarovie for a sunset Caipiroska. The best in Havana! We continued our walk westbound, turned left at boutique hotel...Terral and aimed straight for the Swedish flag. Warmly greeted at the bar, we continued with a few drinks and ordered delicious toast skagen, signature chicken nuggets, souvlaki and the famous pasta casa Miglis. Phenomenal food, amazing service and great value. Will be back soon!!!More

We were planning to eat at a different restaurant but it was all booked and someone recommended Casa Miglis instead. It was a pleasant surprise for me, coming from Sweden. The food was good, the service as well. It's not very cheap but not too...expensive either and by Cuban standard this is a lovely place. It was civilized, a pleasant atmosphere and there was even live music with very talented musicians.More

Having information about the Havana Queens, we headed off the Casa Miglis for a great time. The Havana Queens gave a great performance.....everything from ballet and Flamenco to break dancing. Food was available, but we only had drinks. Our server was very pleasant. The place...had a good vibe and the evening was a great success.More

We visited Casa Miglis on our first evening in Havana after it was recommended by staff at our accommodation and reading some good reviews. Unfortunately the food wasn’t great and well overpriced. The “street party” (that’s the only way I can describe it) right outside...the open window most evenings makes conversation pretty difficult too!More

We passed a memorable evening of friendship and fine food, Swedish and Cuban, in a charming atmosphere. Located in 'the peoples' Havana, the cabaret was solid and entertains. Don't miss it if you enjoy a little treasure off the beaten path.

We were a party of six, and had a great meal. We were in Havana overnight with a with RC cruise. We had a great meal, all the food was very good. I had the seafood ceviche to start, which tasted very fresh and good....Then I had the pasta with beef, which also was very good. Two others in our group had the lamb, which was very good. Jessica was very helpful explaining the dishes we had questions with, as well as the dr waiter. Would go back again when I return to Havana.More

The chef is excelent, no doubt of it, they have vegetarian main courses wich is hard to get in Havana. The cocktails arenaverage. The service is normal, in my visit i got a seafood caserole and i órdered the swedish meatballs, that was no trouble...since i love seafood, the trouble was when i just got 1 shrimp, 1 little piece of lobster, and a lot of fish in my 14cucs caserole. Even when the food was great, i feel the price was over the food and the service. If you are a vegetarian will be good for you, and i have never been before in the piano nights, but i will go back and try.More
