Do not be put off by the street on which this paladar sits, as you are in for a great surprise. Food very good. Wine very good. Ambience incredible. This semi derelict palatial building is home to several families, although looks totally derelict until you reach the top floor restaurant,up a winding beautiful marble staircase. It is truly majestic in... More

On the top floor of one of those beautiful dilapidated buildings, not very visible from the street and by reservation only... Definitely worth a visit. A lot of effort fantasizing with the food, not always successful, but worth trying

Booking to eat in this restaurant is essential but I was able to secure a reservation via email prior to our holiday and it was well worth it. The food isn't any more expensive than some other Havana restaurants but the menu was more interesting and the food fresh and flavorsome. A real treat!

We didn't get the reservation so we went just to the bar. Drinks are ordinary, more expensive than in the rest of Havana. To get there we walked through neighborhood which was really creepy, we felt we were somewhere in the war zone. I don't see anything charming about eating and drinking for the triple the salary of the average... More

Great meal, make a reservation. If you can't get in for the meal, go for the terraces. A beautiful building that is crumbling but one can still see the beauty of what it once was. My boyfriend and I split the solomillo and the lobster and rice. The solomillo was great! The lobster was also good but not nearly as... More

The place is really unique. It brings you back 100 years!! Very classy and with a good menu this is the place to meet and see people, the terrace offer a nice view over the Havana roofs and it is open till very late. There is room for dancing and dating! To get back!

Delicious food in a beautiful atmosphere. Extremely interesting to me to see part of the building totally collapsed and lived in by poor people to this wonderful multi-level restaurant. Don't miss the top floors!

I read up on this restaurant before visiting Havana, swooned at photographs of the beautiful marble staircase located on the two floors below the restaurant and made a booking via the website a week ahead of our visit. This was probably one of the most disappointing meals we had in Cuba - not that the food was bad, it was... More

Definitely best food in Havana that we had. This restaurant is trying to have more from food and they are (from all the restaurants that we have visited) most dedicated to it. We had different things - lamb, lobster, shrimps - everything very nice. Also very good choice of wine... Atmosphere is very good, look from the terrace spectacular. And... More
