I had this restaurant on my list of places to try in Havana. We walked over for lunch on a Saturday and noticed that every single person leaving had a to go container. One older couple had their own Tupperware to carry home their leftovers. We later learned that they add a charge for the to go container. There was... More

Located on a very narrow and rather dark street (Salud #123), you can't miss the bright-pink neon sign outside. This is a well appointed place, elegant in a 50's style. The beautiful, oriental front gate leads into a marble and mirror lined vestibule with waiting benches and large vases, (if you go after 6, there will be a waiting line,... More

The restaurant has great service and serves almost too much food so either go light on the appetizers or go really hungry because if not you'll be bringing home leftovers.

I'm vegetarian so after consulting with the very friendly waitress I ordered black beans and vegetable fried rice (two separate dishes). They both were really good and also very big - enough for at least two hungry people...

If you want to eat a lot for a cheap price, this is the restaurant to be. Reservations needed. But nothing Chinese, I've never eaten a Cordon Blue in a Chinese restaurant..

So we were told this is the best Cuban food in town. And it did not disappoint. Portions were HUGE and the service was great. Locals lined up to get in. The only thing was that it was in this bizarre neighborhood that was dark, but was nevertheless safe. If it were the same street in the US I would... More

Hidden beneath Centro Habana's deteriorating facades, this restaurant serves super large portions of lobster, fried rice and sweet sour sauce! The interiors are air-conditioned what's a big plus on a hot, Cuban day.

The menu of this restaurant is varied, going from criollo to Chinese dishes. The portions are very generous. For a group, sharing platter (fried rice, grilled meat, seafood and fish) are best. Service is fast and efficient, while not feeling rushed.
