Very famous restaurant, waiting over an hour at the line to dine, when we got inside, everything looked nice, when the food arrived, all was ruined

so this place was recommended by our local air bnb host (the local cuban who checked us into our lodging in old havana), he said los nardos was his favorite place in havana and that locals go here too, it was a very rainy day in havana so it was nice to be under a covered veranda of sorts where... You're guaranteed to have to queue because it's recommended in the Lonely Planet guide that EVERYONE in Havana carries around. As a result, it rests on its laurels. The place is dark and dingy and not very comfortable. The food was not as bad as most places but I still had a lot of trouble picking anything off the menu... More

Thoroughly recommend this restaurant, very large choice of menu, they may not always have everything on there though but this is Cuba so just go with the flow, the food was very good and there was plenty of it, a friend had the Paella and there was enough on his plate for at least three people! Great atmosphere and attentive... More

The midday trek to Los Nardos, hoping for less of a crowd, gave us a 25 minute wait and a powerful thirst. Mojitos it was! Shuffled into the bar on the first floor, we were told to wait and they will call us. Warning: It's a completely different restaurant and the waiters will try to convince you to just eat... More

My family and I spent 2 days in Havana and we decided to go to Los Nardos restaurant for dinner after reading some good reviews about it. The food and service did not disappoint. The plates were good enough to share. I really enjoyed the paella. They also have a good friend chicken. Food is fairly inexpensive. I was surprised... More

We were told about Los Nardos and were not disappointed . Staff were friendly and attentive. Food and drinks reasonably priced.

A local told us about this place and we went on her recommendation. We were not disappointed. The location is terrific as it is across the street from the Cuban Capitol building. It is owned/operated by the Cuban Government and the prices can't be beat... a lunch main course is about $4. The service was a little slow but very... More

Situated across from El Capitolo, there is an upstairs and downstairs to this restaurant. Our Cuban friends took us to the downstairs as there was a long line to go upstairs and no wait for downstairs. I was paying for the meal, so I was a bit nervous with the white tablecloth service and very elegant surroundings. The menu reflected... More

This restaurant is in a nice area of Havana and has pretty good food, but the experience was completely ruined when they presented our bill and there were several items on there we definitely had not ordered. Plus the server repeatedly told us tip was not already included and the 10% service charge was a "special tax". This was not... More
