First time we've been here after meaning to go for several visits now. This is a very relaxed simple, open-air restaurant with a great mellow vibe and a perfect place for divers to share tall fish tales. Prices are very reasonable and the food is just up from bar-food quality (that's not an insult). I had the "best ribs on the island" and they were good. I've not had ribs anywhere else, so I'm not sure if I can verify their claim :-).
I would definitely go back for another relaxed dinner with friends.

A relaxed place on the water.
Friday night they had a calypso band.
Had the Caesar salad with chicken it was a good size portion fresh crispy romaine lettuce and chicken that wasn't overcooked.
The ribs looked great I will try them next time and I will recommend and return.

We ate here twice on our recent visit to Bonaire. The food is always very good and we had a very personable young man as our server. Beer, wine and fun cocktails. Reasonable prices.
Highly recommend lionfish ceviche, walking sticks appetizers. Fish tacos are great and we also came on paella night. Great flavors and good portions.
It's fun to sit in the open air and watch the action on the street and water. We heard they are looking for a new location due to new construction across the street. Hopefully it will work out and we can dine here again on our next trip. It's been one of our favorites when we come to the island.

Went here at the wknd with a group of 14. Called in advance to check when the happy hour was. Was told it was 5-7. We arrived at 5 and saw written on the blackboard it said starts 5:30. After being ignored the lady behind the bar eventually came out from the bar to have a cigarette and then came over. It was 5:15. I asked about when the happy hour explaining both the answer given on the phone and the different time on the blackboard, she said it’s 5:30 we said ok well will these be in happy hour, she said yeh sure ok. She took our order, slowly got the drinks sorted and gave them to us saying actually they won’t be in happy hour.
Every round of drinks took ages, I know there were 14 of us but even persuading her to take an order seemed like a big ask. We ordered food then. Every dish came out except one which had been totally missed from the order so that person had to eat alone after everyone was finished. All of these things would have been less of an issue if the lady waiting our table was friendly and apologetic but frankly I think she wished the place was empty. We were the only table in there until just before we left when it started to fill up.
Sorry for the negative review but there were just so many issues.

We loved the location of this little cafe along the waterside plaza but compared to other places the food was uninspiring and the waitress looked like she was bored and wished we weren’t there. My fish was way over cooked and the burgers were so so. Try other more authentic places for the best food. This caters to tourists.

Service is slow and not welcoming. Food is not the best on the island as some have claimed, in fact it was one of the two worst meals we had on this trip to Bonaire.
When our food came, it wasn't ours, and when we told the young man it wasn't ours, he asked if we were sure, then stood there like he didn't know what to do. Finally he took it back to the kitchen. Our food, when it did arrive was tasteless. I couldn't finish mine.
When the bill arrived, it was for double of what it should've been. Well over $100. Our guess is that they throw that down and see if you even look before paying!
Go for drinks, avoid the food.

Fish and chips was beyond fishy in flavor. Not an acceptable level of fishy flavor. The tartar sauce had no flavor. Fries were okay. Not good by any means.
Staff wasn’t very impressive. I said thank you several times, and no one responded with even a smile.
I also watched the bartender sift through several glasses to find a clean one to pour our water in. I appreciate the clean glass, however it was worrisome that it took so many glasses to find a clean one.

I see many descriptions and reviews as a cheap place for divers to eat. It was still a little pricey, entree's were still around $20, appetizers were under $10. Bill came to the same amount as most other average priced places on the island. Food was bland imo. Service was a little lacking as the waitress had her head buried in her phone as we waited for menu's. I guess I would liken this place to a bar that happens to serve food rather than a restaurant that has a bar. I would pass next time.

We ate here twice so can’t be all that bad.
The food is acceptable & none of us had any complaints.
The only negative is that service was a bit slow, probably due to lack of staff.

We stayed on Bonaire for a week, and visited this restaurant several times because of friendly staff, and amazing food! Happy hour offered delicious drinks at a reasonable rate. Menu is diverse, food was seasoned and amazing. We tried favorites such as the ribs, fish taco’s, jerk chicken, garlic shrimp and pizza.

We ate at 12 restaurants during our 2 week stay on Bonaire - this one had the best food. The place appears to be a real looser but the food is great, beer is cold and service very good. Menus are old, missing pages and falling apart. Some of the tables have plywood tops. They also have specials on different nights of the week. Love the food, but the place does need some work on the appearance.

Food is not consistent. First time we ate there it was excellent, next time not good. Service is extremely slow. Servers seemed more interested in paling around with friends. It is a locals and divers hangout but we had heard food was excellent. Do hope that next year the construction will be done and the cooking will be back to normal.

The food was ok, the service fine and motivated. It was sunday and their Pizza-Day. Unfortunately, there was no pizza abailable by 8pm. Anyway, I ordered Fish&Chips which was ok.
After the food we ordered a Tequila shot. After asking we also got salt and lemon. But on the check they accounted 8USD per Tequila. We asked if this is a mistake and a cocktail with tequila in the same restaurant costs $9 dollars but we got the answer they just use the cheap one for t the cocktails and 8 dollars is the regular price for a Tequila…

You have a view of the sea, terrace is simple and requires some attention eg: chairs in bad condition. Price/quality ratio of food is good. Staff are friendly and helpful. If they pay a little more attention to the terrace you would sit down earlier.
