Very local and very friendly. We had red snapper, chicken breast, pasta, and pizza, and everything was fresh and delicious. The staff was so kind and the atmosphere was relaxed. Nice breeze and good view.

All my trips to Bonaire start with drinks and dinner at Diverls Diner my first night on the island. I have never been disappointed in the food or the drinks. Louise is the best in my book!
First of all, very nice people, very friendly and helpfull. Great food and drinks for affordable prices, last but not least a 2 hour counting happy hour....... great. Tnx Louis and crew for the unforgetable time there.
We ate here twice on our recent visit to Bonaire. The food is always very good and we had a very personable young man as our server. Beer, wine and fun cocktails. Reasonable prices. Highly recommend lionfish ceviche, walking sticks appetizers. Fish tacos are great...and we also came on paella night. Great flavors and good portions. It's fun to sit in the open air and watch the action on the street and water. We heard they are looking for a new location due to new construction across the street. Hopefully it will work out and we can dine here again on our next trip. It's been one of our favorites when we come to the island.More
We ate at 12 restaurants during our 2 week stay on Bonaire - this one had the best food. The place appears to be a real looser but the food is great, beer is cold and service very good. Menus are old, missing pages and...falling apart. Some of the tables have plywood tops. They also have specials on different nights of the week. Love the food, but the place does need some work on the appearance.More
We loved the location of this little cafe along the waterside plaza but compared to other places the food was uninspiring and the waitress looked like she was bored and wished we weren’t there. My fish was way over cooked and the burgers were so...so. Try other more authentic places for the best food. This caters to tourists.More
We ordered 2 tequilas at the end and the check said, 8$ per tequila. I was asking why the tequila shot was 8$ a piece and if this has been a mistake, because the tequila is also in some of the cocktails and they are...between 7-9$. They told me that they put the cheap tequila in the cocktails that’s why the tequila we got is 8$ a piece 😂 Service was also very Slow and the food is not worth mentioning.More
The food was ok, the service fine and motivated. It was sunday and their Pizza-Day. Unfortunately, there was no pizza abailable by 8pm. Anyway, I ordered Fish&Chips which was ok. After the food we ordered a Tequila shot. After asking we also got salt and...lemon. But on the check they accounted 8USD per Tequila. We asked if this is a mistake and a cocktail with tequila in the same restaurant costs $9 dollars but we got the answer they just use the cheap one for t the cocktails and 8 dollars is the regular price for a Tequila…More
We had great service from Kelvin. Fish tacos were yummy. My margarita was very good. Nice to hear ppl jamming some old tunes.
Where to start? Summary -------------- Sloppy inattentive service and ingredients/food straight out of the freezer Detail ---------- Asked for a beer and a glass of white wine, beer arrived quickly, took ages and repeated requests for wine to appear. Starters of chicken wings OK (KFCish)...- probably/definitely from the freezer Ordered another beer - service OK Mains - how bad can it get? My wife's dish was supposed to be spicy prawn dish with a mango salsa - TASTELESS and prawns straight from the freezer - my wife ate about a half of it, before giving up OK, next my main - Blackened Tuna with a salsa, they asked me how I wanted it cooked and I replied rare (warm = not over cooked). First it looked like a reconstituted piece of tuna, not the real thing and it was still FROZEN in the middle. I told one of the servers (many of them) about it and they took it to the kitchen and it came back warmer. Note, not a new piece, properly cooked, no the same reconstituted frozen piece of tasteless rubbish. We ate hardly any of the mains and asked for the bill, they even got this wrong by about 40 euros. Had to go to the counter and TELL THEM WHAT we'd had. Woman on till had difficultly with english and I was requested to calm down. OH I forgot, we asked about four times (different servers - all doing nothing) for another glass of white wine - eventually arrived How do places like this exist? how can people not give them anything but terrible reviews? Please Please Please heed my advice - avoid, avoid, avoid!!!More

We have eaten here many times in the past and it was previously a great, inexpensive place to get good food. No longer. We were approached by the waitress, I asked for a beer. Without asking my husband what he wanted to drink, she sneered...at us and snarled, asking us if we were planning to eat there. We shouLd have gotten up and left right then, but we said, yes we were. I repeated my drink order, my husband gave his and I asked to see the “specials “ menu. As locals we know they have an abbreviated menu with lower prices and smaller portions. She became arrogant and said that menu was the LUNCH menu. I asked again to see it and requested to know which fish they were serving tonight. She didn’t know, but would ask. She returned with the menus, stating again it was the LUNCH menu, but no drinks and still no answer to the question about the fish of the day. We looked at the menus, which CLEARLY stated that the items were served for BOTH lunch AND dinner, just a price difference of two dollars higher at supper. The meal included a soft drink and small desert. On her third trip back, she finally brought the drinks and told us the fish was barracuda. We decided to order other items from the list. My husband ordered the “premium steak” and although she did NOT ask, he volunteered that he wanted it cooked to medium rare. Our food arrived, NO dressing on the small side salad, just lettuce, sliced tomato and sliced cucumbers. There was no ketchup in packets on the table, so I requested some. It was brought to me, but when I went to open the flip lid, it was filthy and encrusted with dried up food. I flagged down a server and asked for a different bottle…he only asked me if I needed assistance opening the one I had. They finally brought me another bottle (not so sure about that as they made a big deal about telling me it was a different one)…with a clean lid. However, the expiration date was YESTERDAY and it was clear the bottle had never seen the inside of a refrigerator since it had been opened. Then my husband showed me his “premium steak”…thin, tough, dried out and cooked to a perfect shade of dark grey. Unfortunately, tourists do not know about the special menu and will pay twice as much for a slightly larger portion of bad food and awful service. Totally done coming to this dump.More
Went here at the wknd with a group of 14. Called in advance to check when the happy hour was. Was told it was 5-7. We arrived at 5 and saw written on the blackboard it said starts 5:30. After being ignored the lady behind...the bar eventually came out from the bar to have a cigarette and then came over. It was 5:15. I asked about when the happy hour explaining both the answer given on the phone and the different time on the blackboard, she said it’s 5:30 we said ok well will these be in happy hour, she said yeh sure ok. She took our order, slowly got the drinks sorted and gave them to us saying actually they won’t be in happy hour. Every round of drinks took ages, I know there were 14 of us but even persuading her to take an order seemed like a big ask. We ordered food then. Every dish came out except one which had been totally missed from the order so that person had to eat alone after everyone was finished. All of these things would have been less of an issue if the lady waiting our table was friendly and apologetic but frankly I think she wished the place was empty. We were the only table in there until just before we left when it started to fill up. Sorry for the negative review but there were just so many issues.More
Nice menu and the food was decent but as soon as we sat down we were overwhelmed by tiny flies. They landed on the food and we just lost our appetite. We heard the apple pie was amazing and it's even mentioned in the menu...intro but when we asked for it we were told they don't make it anymore. Can't recommend this place.More
