Heard good things about this restaurant but was not impressed. Ordered one of their signature cocktail which was way too sweet with whip cream on top. Main courses were ok but nothing special ( fish and stuffed sweet potatoe). It's not very expensive and the location is convenient because we stayed nearby. Otherwise I won't recommend this place.

We arrived for an early weeknight dinner and there was hardly anyone there, but they turned out our favorite meal to date (been here a month already!). I had flying fish w/ cou cou, wife had a stuffed pork roast. Both came with great vegetables...the sweet potatoes were incredible...like they were baked, then had a light "skin" put of them... More

Honestly I would have given Brown sugar 5 stars however something happened regarding the staff that evening. Our poor waitress was running ragged while others were standing around. It took quite a while to get our food however when we did - it was fantastic - the flying fish was amazing. The ambience of Brown Sugar was perfect for our... More

Amazing food and service. Great ambience of nature and tree frogs while we had a delicious meal. If you are in Barbados, you have to check this place out!

Very nice setting with the greenery and water. Lizards climbing the walls and the sound of tree frogs ( I liked that). Service and food were good. First time to eat flying fish. Enjoyed it

Lovely atmosphere to dine in. Their coconut shrimps are to die for! Try their pork stuffed with Bajan spices!! My husband had their flying fish, for which they have a reputation. Not as expensive as a lot of other restaurants on the island and well worth it.

A beautiful garden setting with flowers and frogs. A really enjoyable environment. The buffet selection is excellent, lots of choices. Everything is beautifully presented. An outstanding selection of authentic bajan cuisine just waiting for you to try. The buffet had all of our favourites, particularly flying fish. It's a buffet, so be adventurous, this is the opportunity to try something... More

Pros: -Garden atmosphere is pleasant, particularly before sunset (NOT waterfront, as it is categorized here). -Good place to try genuine Bajan cuisine -Reasonably priced Cons: -Roast beef is English style, ie, what we call pot roast in the US. -Fried fish pretty flavorless -Three salad choices -Long lines on Sunday for lunch -Parking is limited

Only five minutes' walk from our hotel, this restaurant delivered on local food in a Bajan style house. We had a lovely table by a water feature which was cooling and tranquil. The food was everything we wanted, local fish, rice and peas. I really enjoyed it.
