I love the smell of Praline as you walk nearby this openair ice cream stand. Everything available is delicious. It's nice just to buy an icecream cone with your favourite flavours and wander around Redcliffe Quay.

We stopped off here while visiting Antigua on a cruise. We were tempted in by the customers enjoying gorgeous ice creams and we were not disappointed! The choice of home-made ice-creams was impressive and while you stand wondering what to choose you can watch the ice-cream makers churning away at the rear of the shop. When we finally made up... Very creamy ice cream, not very cold but good, I'd go for the sorbet next time for a more refreshing treat. Seats were all taken by locals that seemed to be hanging for the day, not even sure they had ice cream in hand.

We had freshly made waffles, with ice cream. There isn't much else to say, apart from they were delicious, and I would happily have gone back for seconds. The only downside was that the seating area is very small, so I imagine it can be very busy when cruise ships are in town...

After a few hours of wandering around St. John's in the mid-day sun, I was ready for a sit-down. Luckily I came across this little spot just in time before my legs gave out. There are only 5-6 tables on the little veranda in front and they were all full. The place does coffees, hot chocolate and waffles as well... More
