The only bad thing was we were there when a cruse boat was in so Hemingways was very busy. Good for them they deserve the business. Its an interesting Caribbean eatery and well worth trying if you can manage the stairs..

Hemingways is located just outside the duty free shopping zone where the cruise ships dock. It is up a flight of stairs, so access is limited to those that can climb the steps. From our table on the porch we were able to watch life go by in St. John's. Everyone driving on Antigua uses their horn so it can... More

it was okay..i got a blt, and the hubby got a sandwich also..nice location ..its upstairs so u do have to walk up some steps, the waitress was friendly, and the manager was super nice..a little on the expensive side..for 2sandwiches, fries and 2 teas it was 38.00...but for the St.John area i guess its ok!

Staying on the island we naturally had a day in St. John's and dropped in for lunch. The food was good enough and the service was very good, however, the price was at odds with the meal and experience. An overpriced lunch would be my summation of the visit.

There is a moderate selection of food to choose from but all within my party loved their choices. Would recommend! Great staff!

Had a delightful lunch at Hemingways in St. John's in Antigua on April Fools Day, a Saturday in 2017. The restaurant's very near the docks. It's on the second floor; it was a challenge to find the entrance to the staircase. It's right under the sign, if that helps. Tables were a little small for this big guy and I... More

As a local, I enjoyed my anniversary night, April 5, 2017. I had the coconut shrimp with the mashed plantains, it was delicious. Staff showed great hospitality which was very impressive. I am in the industry, so I know what to look for. Awesome restaurant, for lunch and dinner. Had lunch a few times there as well. Maylene Hector

My husband and I visited this restaurant for a quick lunch and truly enjoyed sitting on the upper balcony, drinking cocktails, and people watching. The staff was responsive and quick to please. I ordered the fish sandwich and it was yummy! Recommend!
