I ate here with friends after walking the long walk up to the castle and it was well worth the walk. As soon as we sat down they were offering local appetisers to us that were typical of Tuscan cuisine. The food was incredible and we got the best table next to incredible views of Tuscany from the terrace of... More

Having been to all restaurants in Larccianno, without doubt this is the best. The owner is very friendly and the staff are excellent. The food is always seasonal and is simply more special than the normal food of restaurants in the area. The food is marginally more expensive but it is made up for by the location and the complimentary... More

I've been coming to Il Marzocco for over 8 years during holidays in Tuscany and only now realised I have never reviewed it! It really is a fantastic restaurant! It showcases typical Tuscan food with a little more finesse than most of the local trattorias. The staff are very friendly, it's a family run restaurant with a lovely feel. The... More

What a view! We thought that would be it. But we really had a great dinner and a lovely evening. So the food is also worth the ride up the hill. Tip: don't go through the towngate with your car. You'll get stranded in the small street easily. Park it outside, just a couple of meters walk to the restaurant.

We chose this restaurant as there were some great reviews. The location is beautiful in an old walled village on a hill overlooking the Tuscan hills. I would rate the restaurant as "good" but not "very good". The terrace and views are amazing and it is worth the visit just for that. The food is nice enough but not extraordinary.... More

My wife and I were looking for a special place to celebrate. We choose Il Marzocco because we had heard good things about the restaurant's view, we will be going back because of the food. It is intimate without being stuffy. Prices are reasonable for what you get. The wine selection is full of reasonably priced hidden gems.

I had the pleasure of dining at IL Marzocco several weeks ago and I must say, it was one of the best dining experiences I had while vacationing in Italy. We enjoyed a lovely evening on the patio. I started with the ravioli and it was by far the BEST I have ever had. The owner selected several outstanding bottles... More

Marzocco is the place to eat when in Montecatini or the surrounding area. We were lucky that on the night of our dinner the temperature was just right. We enjoyed an excellent meal while sitting outside; taking in the beautiful view. As a starter I had homemade ravioli is a fresh tomato sauce, while my partner enjoyed a risotto with... More
