Stopped here after seeing the name on tripadvisor....there was a decrepancy in the location and one poster said they had changed their name. Know this.....it's right next to the ferry landing in town and it has great pizza, coffee and carrot cake to die for, worth a stop if not just to take a picture of the ferry leaving the... More

This is a great little cafe with the best coffee, and delicious food. Made on the premises. The day we were there they were making their own chutney, wow did it smell good. The staff are so friendly, and the service is great. Don't pass through Rawene without stopping at this great little cafe. Keep up the good work guys.

This is now the Waterline Café, don't know when they changed their name. If you are seeking the worst cup of coffee in N.Z your search is over go directly to the Waterline café. I was served a cold coffee and my wife was served a cup of hot chocolate in a glass, no napkin around it and the waiter... More

Hi there, In response to your review above, I ask firstly if you have the correct cafe as we are the Boatshed Cafe, Rawene. That name has been in place for 16 plus years. The Waterline Cafe is located across the other side of the Harbour in Kohukohu and has been closed for quite some time now. If you are... More

This little gem is situated only a minutes walk from the ferry at the picturesque town of Rawene...a gem in itself. The shed itself is quaint and cute over the water We visited with friends from overseas and they too LOVED it!...Panini, soup, mushrooms and toast and quick and delightful service from friendly staff. I really did have to have... More

Thanks for a beautiful breakfast 🍳 We enjoyed our scrambled eggs on the deck literally out above the high tide. Great staff that were friendly and excellent at their jobs😊

We only had coffee but given we are coffee critics, I thought we should recommend that you buy your coffee from here. Not the closest cafe to the ferry but worth the walk.
