A tourist-oriented restaurant with great views over the lake and a decent selection of fresh fish. Apart from the fish, we didn’t think the food was very special though - it was ok. We enjoyed two evening meals here. Staff speak very little English but are very friendly. The lobster casserole alone is worth the short taxi ride from town. Speciality dishes are freshwater fish. They are licensed, and have a log fireplace for colder evenings.

During our weekend long trip to this region, we had lunch at this restaurant on the banks of Egirdir Lake. The ambiance was very nice, calm, serene with magnificient lake view. The staff was very friendly and warm yet their service level was just amateurish....Maybe that's because we were a large group of around 23 people and it was too much for such a small enterprise, I don't know the exact reason, but it took long time to give orders and our drinks were not yet served when we had our main course. The meals were just okay, nothing delicious or outstanding. But despite all these factors, I liked the atmosphere, the calmness, the warmness of the people.More

We went to this restaurant as it was listed as number ONE in Egirdir in TripAdvisor. We had dinner in the terrace. The first glimpse was disappointing. The white paint needs repainting urgently as it shows a little bit dirty and worn out. For starters,...we ordered calamari. It is the first time in my life I'm offered this dish not battered with flour but breaded!!!! Plus, the calamari were not tender at all. After that, we had grilled sea bream and that was fine. Another fact that made our dinner uncomfortable was the number of cats in the terrace. They dare to touch you to get some food!!! In the menu you have, at least, 6 different brands of beers but when you order, they are reduced to only 2. That means I had a brand of beer I liked less. I would not give this restaurant a second chance.More

Another average restaurant on the lake with very average food. Had the calamari which was tough and flavourless in contrast to some of the very good calamari we have had around Turkey. Again nice location, pity about the food.

Marvelously fried Carp, a piece art Meze made of carp caviar, fried Zander ( believe me it was better than steam oven cooked fish), a nice pickles. But, very fast and friendly service. If you visit this restaurant enjoy also a very nice lake view.

We ate here two nights. Very tasty well cooked dishes. From the salad to the lake fish and lamb kebab, all are delicious. A starter of lobster casserole (guveç) was particularly full of flavour. If we come to Egirdir again we will definitely visit.

We were warmly welcomed to our table on the pretty terrace overlooking the lake. We asked for the wine list but were brought two bottles of wine each of which were priced at 130 Turkish lira - two or three times the normal price for...a 'house wine' in this area. We insisted on seeing the wine list and noted that there were good local wines for half the price. Other reviewers have mentioned generous portions but the main dishes we ordered were meagre and came without the salad, rice or potatoes that are normally included for thpses prices.More

On a frigid spring evening we spotted the blazing fire from down the street and headed for it like lonely moths. While the fire may have been roaring it was nothing compared to the warmth of the welcome we received. The staff were all friendly,...attentive and helpful whilst also being tolerant of our lack of Turkish vocabulary. Typical of many Turkish restaurants, the quantity of food was almost daunting but fresh and lovely. Our best meal on the island by far.More
