We called in for a snack, with the added bonus that there is a craft shop within the building, very small but very good. The Hosts were very friendly and attentive. Service was quick and in no time we were tucking in to our tea and scones which we thoroughly enjoyed. We would call in again if we were in... More

The A82 is one of Scotland's best motorcycling roads and the Thistle Stop has to be one of it's best cafe's, they even have a motorcycles parking area. I was just going to have a coffee and sandwich but after seeing their steak pie special I just had to order it. Food was fantastic and very reasonable. If you're looking... More

I usually stop here on my way south a couple of times a year. There is a designated motorcycle parking area, which is always a good sign. A very large latte is £2.40, which is good value. The cafe is warm and clean .

This is an ideal place to stop for lunch when exploring the area. Nicely furnished and very clean. The owners are very friendly and provide a very good service. Food is good and at a reasonable price compared with other restaurants in the area. We had beef and ale meat pie, which was tasty and a good sized portion. If... More

Stopped off at The Thistle Stop on our way back to our hotel in Fort William from a trip to Inverness, with it being mid afternoon and dinner booked at our hotel we could only manage a snack unfortunately as the food being served to other diners looked delicious. We just had the soup and a sandwich combo with a... More

My Wife and I called in on our way to Inverness for the week, we only requested Scones and Coffee, the service was excellent as was the food and drink. We were impressed with the menu and friendly atmosphere, a good sign was the obvious locals who call in as the owners knew them by name. We were so impressed... More

A great place to stop for food. We had a sandwich and a panini and they were both excellent as was the side salad. Add in the great coffee, really friendly owners, great cakes and you've got an ideal place for a break in your journey. To my wife's great pleasure they also stock patchwork, quilting, knitting & crochet supplies... More
