Lovely cool pub for lunch after an exceptionally long, sweaty walk up to the Devil's Pulpit and back. Very welcoming staff and made an effort with our very tired dog. We all chose food from the black boards and were not disappointed. My partner had...More

Very disappointed with food , pie was over cooked and pastry rock hard , fire burning in adjoining field ( not what you want on a summers evening) carrots were over cooked .. just not a pleasant experience , also expensive for very small portions

Visited today with friends, to what is a pleasant pub with a fantastic view. We took a table outside and then decided for the pub food menu rather than the lighter bites from the cafe area. We were told that the food would take 45...More
