We decided to drive quite a few miles to try this restaurant and my wife birthday was the right occasion. When we reached the place we could find easily parking and this is positive. The wellcome has benn calorous and intimate with the owner greeting...us and introducing the staff. We decided for the complete menu apart my daughter who can'have gluten in her food. The restaurant owner helped in addressin her with a differen menu which gonugated all courses with ours. Each course then was matched to a different wine. We all enjied the food however we found some dishes a bit borderline in terms of flavour and ingredients however the overall experience is extremely positive. Usually I tend to judge the restaurant after the second or even the third trial. So far among similar players I have a list : Tamata Porto Azzurro, il Patio Pollone, Aga San Vito di Cadore and Laite on same level. Let's see next round. Congratulations anywayMore

We called ahead to make sure there were going to be vegan options, and they were very willing to prepare something for us. When we arrived, they doted on us, and had numerous small portioned treats for both vegan and nonvegan people in our group....My husband had a great time with their extensive wine list that he discussed with the maitre de. They even made a special chick pea and berry dessert for us!More

In a wonderful village in the middle of the Dolomites you'll find Laite. A cosy restaurant with very friendly welcoming service and a FANTASTIC top chef. Not cheap, but worth every euro. Excellent dishes with riverfish and deer for instance. Great mixed dessert. And very...good wines. We will be back!More

We came to Laite for the celebration of a friends 50th birthday. The owners had prepared a 8 course tasting menu with wine pairing and boy, did we get a meal to celebrate! Every dish was pure perfection! It stayed true to the regional cuisine,...but elevated each dish to true star food! And then the wines!!! All carefully picked to pair and highlight the dishes, delightful and scrumptious! Thanks for a great birthday meal!More

A little, cozy , peaceful restaurant in the historical old Sappada , framed by the Dolomites. Enchanting menu based on local products ( but not only) , fresh materials and a lot of love for good food. The starred chef Fabrizia Meroi brings out the...real "beauty" of seasonal ingredients and accompain them with a great choice of wines. Great quality / price range. Truly a worthy visit .More

Unforgetable! Fabrizia created a Vegan food menu only for me! Roberto found the complimentary wines! The atmosphere was wonderful and the evening was the highlight of my 3 weeks vacation. Thanks to Fabrizia I was finally able to eat something else than Pasta with Tomatosauce...or grilled vegetables. Any special food required, call in 24hrs before hand and you will get what your tummy asks for. Also the standard menu looked great, the choice of wine is unlimited, over 800 different wines at your choice. Highly recommended, don't miss it when you are in the area!More

Laite has a cosy timber interior and a warm welcome from the hosts. Fabrizia produced some exquisite food and Roberto recommended some excellent wines to complement the meal. Very enjoyable experience.
