The food was good, the ambiance pleasant in spite of the low number of customers. The service was excellent. We were treated royally by a delightful Italian waitress and quite possibly drank too much wine as a result! I will definitely be back to sample...the evening menu.More
We had a lovely meal at Cucino's - our host was fantastic with great information about the wine, drinks and food. Our starter arrived in no time and was lovely, we shared a caprese salad and after that our main courses a pasta and a...pizza, were also excellent, this was enjoyed with a lovely bottle of Tank Primitivo and for dessert our super host made us fabulous Expresso Martinis - a most enjoyable evening out!More
Had table booked Service good & food arrived smartly Professional & friendly staff Food was gorgeous Starters of prawns were super Another starter of mussels was really tasty! Pizza’s were great tho a little ‘luke warm’! Delighted with recommended wine Will be back! Thanks
Cucinos is actually ( we think) part of the Marine Hotel in Sutton Cross. It is however, separate from the Hotel. We stayed in the hotel which was lovely but on our second night, we though we go to Cucinos for a late Pizza and...some Guiness. it was a good choice, the Pizza is Great, yes, Great Pizza can be made outside of Italy and cucinos is again proof.More
Hi RetinaOne, Thank you so much for your kind words! Great service, great pizza, great beer, great wine is what we strive for! Looking forward to having you back soon. Silvia
Dined on a Friday Eve. 3 wait staff to 3 occupied tables. Rest of the place was empty. All fine on ordering but starters all came out at different times. One was removed from bill as result which was nice. Prawns overly salty. Small lasagne...portion that was very crunchy around sides, perhaps reheated or left under heat lamp too long. Accompanying garlic bread was rock hard. Rest of food was just “ok.” Not up to usual standards. Charged €9 for one glass of Prosecco which seemed pricey. Wait staff are very nice but suggest they need to be more present and available in dining room and on the ball. Female irish team member was very professional. Stated a birthday on our online booking which wasn’t acknowledged and we weren’t going to make a fuss about it. Perhaps don’t request that info if you’re not going to use it. Won’t let this visit deter future visits but do hope the staff are more attentive and provide meaningful service and that the food is of better standard next time,More
Nice Italian restaurant (part of the hotel) at the junction. Handy car park especially on a busy Sunday. Staff polite, food very good and fast service. Expensive
Dear Billie, Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a warm review, we are looking forward to your next visit! Kindest regards, Richie Mullaney
Held a family birthday recently. Richie was super in helping organize. Shauna was an excellent waitress, so friendly and efficient. Food was delicious. We were given a section down the back with one table for adults and a separate one for kids, plenty of room...for all, without us bothering any other diners. Highly recommend for a family event. We’ll be back!More
Dear Mariad, What warmth your review brings to the Cucinos' team, Sheanna & I in particular. It was an absolute pleasure to serve you & your family!! Looking forward to the next family celebration :) Kindest regards, Richie Mullaney
Came here with my Dad at the last hour but the two ladies (&gent) were so kind and understanding and made us feel welcome (with no pressure). Food was so amazing and the price is so affordable. Will definitely come again if in the area.More

A friend recommended it. So booked a table for a birthday evening. There are plenty of choices from the menu. Good desert. The most of all is the staff who created a very friendly environment. Thank you.

We had lunch in Cucino's Restaurant on Sunday 28/4/19 and while the food was lovely the service was pretty appalling. When we arrived at the time we had booked they were only setting tables for a large group who had already arrived, It took some...time before anyone came to see to us and there were quite a few waiting behind us, the restaurant was only half full so they should not have been overstretched. The food arrived reasonably promptly but if we had waited for all 8 of us to be served the food would have been cold. The food was absolutely gorgeous and we were very happy with that unfortunately was let down by poor service.MoreMore

Dear Mandy, Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a warm review. My apologies for the late response; but your review was recognised immediately and brought smiles to Michele, our Head chef, and I. Thank you Mandy and we hope to...More
When we arrived the restaurant was very busy and people were being turned away. There was a mix up over our booking, almost certainly my fault, and yet a table was found for us. Throughout the meal the level of service and helpfulness of staff...was excellent There is a relatively short wine list and prices appeared reasonable by restaurant standards. For starters I had the bruschetta and my wife had the arancinni, for the main course we had sea bass and pork fillet. All the dishes were well prepared and full of flavour. However, the best was still to come and that was the tiramisu, which we both enjoyed and which can only be described as outstanding. This is a restaurant I would return to.More
