Typical Seafood restaurant. Consider this a good place to eat. Grilled Talapia was scrumptious. Hard to navigate to get there.

We visited Pensacola Fl with two of our friends and decided to try out the Grand Marlin for dinner based on reviews we had read, and we were not disappointed. We waited 5 minutes for a table by the window with an ocean view. We each ordered grilled fish (Alaskan halibut, red snapper, swordfish, and salmon) and the menu listed... More

Hubby and I enjoyed a quick lunch. Our server was very knowledgeable and helpful with guiding us through the menu. The view was awesome but it began storming while we were eating. The lightning show over the water was cool to watch. Our lunch was delicious and served quickly.

When you go to a really nice and expensive place to eat, you have high expectations. This place exceeded our expectations! Our waiter, Ramon, was very knowledgeable, articulate and attentive. He recommended and even suggested what sauce went with my halibut. When I asked for an alternative, he said that he would put that on the side and bring out... More

Since we live nearby, we have been here many times. The food is always excellent. We recently dined inside with friends as a party of five. The hard walls, floors and ceilings reflect sound so much that it was impossible to carry on a normal conversation. The outside deck was featuring a steel drummer, so no relief available there either.... More

Have not had a Bad oyster there on numerous trips, The oyster bar is only about 6 stools but oysters are available through the restaurant. A rather open air under roof area with a nice bar is available "outside". Inside with air-conditioning is a nice bar and the oyster bar plus inside dining with a row of west facing tables... More

Haven eaten dinner here once annually for 3-4 years on girlfriends beach trip, I was delighted to be able to come for dinner with my husband. As it was extremely windy, warm & humid, and since we'd spent most of our day outside enjoying the beautiful white sand beaches of Gulf Islands National Seashore and exploring Ft. Pickens National Park... More

Again we found ourselves in Pensacola - this time for a graduation. Having had a wonderful experience last time we visited, we brought our entire family there to celebrate my nephew's graduation. Despite the size of our group, the service and food was phenomenal. Once again, The Grand Marlin exceeded our expectations. Thank you!

Wow! This place gets better every time I visit. We had a party of 9 and each dish was excellent. From the Shrimp and Gouda Grits to the fried gulf shrimp to the jambalaya pasta to the side of crab cake.....Oysters Rockefeller, oh my. Our server, Annie, was beyond patient. She took the time to explain the entrees and added... More

Three diners and all had delicious food. I had the Mandarin Mango Mojito and highly recommend it. I had the Monday special of pan seared diver scallops over mushroom and asparagus risotto with a reduced corn milk sauce. Scallops were tender and perfectly cooked. Risotto was flavorful and also perfectly cooked. We shared a side o awesome hush puppies. The... More

The Grand Marlin Restaurant features a main dining area with a shucked to order oyster bar, exterior North Drop Bar overlooking the beautiful Santa Rosa Sound, and private meeting rooms. This Pensacola Beach restaurant, with an air of island casualness, serves the highest-quality cuisine, including the freshest local seafood featured on menus designed and printed daily to take advantage of the local bounty. The atmosphere creates a fusion of the Caribbean and the Pensacola Bay Area. Executive Chef Gregg McCarthy has a passion for great-tasting food and particularly loves working his culinary magic with fresh Gulf Coast seafood. Boaters and beach-goers feel comfortable in shorts and flip-flops at the oyster bar, in the dining room and at the North Drop Bar. The Grand Marlin has a space and atmosphere for all occasions and is looking forward to creating an authentic experience between time and tide.
