This is not a posh gastro pub this is a great cider pub with loads to choose from as well as nice beer. The wine is limited. I had the fish pie which was very nice. It is cosy with low ceilings and lots of cubby holes to sit in. A good drinking pub!

Sorry guys. Don't actually like writing negative reviews. However hopefully the honest feedback will assist other visitors and the owners in their process of continuous improvement. We paid over £70 for a single course meal for 2 adults & 2 children. If the food was worth it fair enough. Unfortunately it is not. The setting is great. Traditional thatched country... More

Having called in after a long walk for a drink and a packet of crisps, we thought it only fair to return and spend a little more on a proper meal. Very good pub food with traditional meals on the menu. We shared whitebait and then I had the most wonderful faggots, mash and peas while my wife had a... More

The pub looks lovely from the outside and is very quirky on the inside. But the food was pretty poor and unimaginative.

Busy, smelly pub. Surly staff but ran out of options so had to eat here. Food surprisingly good. Well presented and delicious.

Visited with a group of 10 and they managed to fit us in no problem (we had phoned beforehand but they said we couldn't reserve a table). There were a few vegetarian dishes on the menu but nothing that appealed (veg curry, sausage & mash) so I went for the Stilton ploughman's, which had to be the biggest ploughman's I... More

Arrived Sunday, a week later than staying in the area last year when we ate here a couple of times, only to find it closed from 4pm until Noon tomorrow. Very disappointed. Your loss was The Lulworth Cove Inn's gain.
