Les Bouchons, established since 2002, has expanded from its two outlets in Singapore into Iskandar, Johor in Malaysia. It is located in the nerve centre of Puteri Harbour and has the typical Parisian bistro décor and overlooks the Private Marina. The meats are served with the trademark home-made French fries and a curated wine offering built up over the years. The restaurant is bistro style.

The steak and the homemade fresh fries were simply amazing! Despite the restaurant very recently opening, the staff were wonderful and the food was even better! Best steak I've had in a while... and our server was very kind to recommend some amazing wine to go with it. The dessert was incredible too, some of the best creme brulee I've tried in a while Not to mention I was incredibly impressed with the interiors of the restaurant, made the experience even better! I definitely recommend all steak lovers in JB to give Les Bouchons a try... it's one of the best meals I've had in a long time here in JB..

Food, service and the ambiance, exceeded the expectation. Started our meal with the scrumptious Burgundy Escargot that makes everything else taste even more appetizing that it already is. It fills the tongue with a very delicate taste, the garlic butter sauce goes really well with the escargot itself and even with the baguette that was served as a side. The Black Angus Rib Eye Steak and Angus Sirloin Steak was served with a bowl of mixed salad and a generous amount of homemade fries. I had to ditch my other choice of fries after trying out Les Bouchons' homemade fries. Last but not least, was their Tartare de boeuf that has another unexpected succulent experience in the tongue. Prepared specially by the chef and it was something we never tried before and was mind blowing to us.

This place was a great choice to celebrate my birthday! Very attentive service, and they really take care of you on your special day. The food portions were larger than expected and very tasty. The ambiance is good, but I would love to see a more romantic feel- candles on the tables and dimmer lights would really improve the overall feel.
Most bottles of wine were pretty high priced (as is the norm here in Malaysia) but their house red was delicious and reasonably priced. The food prices range but are certainly on the expensive end for Malaysia, but the quality is good.
I would definitely come back here for a special occasion.

I admit it was a busy dinner service however waited for over 40 minutes for my drinks only being told not available . The Escargots were really not good, had a real strange smell and I wouldn’t understand why you would take the shell off . Had to wait then another 1 hour until my steak arrived . The steak should has been served with a salad which never arrived . Their free flow French fries was offered and served in a timely manner . Did ask for dessert and had to wait for over 25 minutes for some ice cream . Total time spent in this restaurant over 2.5 hours . Not exactly sure if this was the mistake of the service or just too many guests at the same time . The actual steak was well cooked , presentation was rather sparse and not up to what you expect for a 40 USD main course . Overall wouldn’t run back to be honest yet the Resto looked full and might have their fan base .

The service is astoundingly good. the food is excellent, though a little pricey. (for Malaysia). Would love to see a few more French classics on the menu, such as frogs legs, duck l'orange, and desserts such as souffle, creme brulee and so on.
Haven't tried it yet, but would like to sample the steak tartare.
Attention to detail has gone into the decorations and ambiance. Hopefully this restaurant will stand the test of time in Puteri Harbour. Simply excellent!

The decor is lovely, very well lit and spacious. The price was reasonable for french food. The mushroom soup and onion soup was nice. I found the escargot dish a bit bitter, lacking salt. The lamb in skewer ( cannot remember the name) was well done. The wines list was impressive. The desserts were good. The staffs were attentive to our needs and listened to our feedback. Overall, a nice place for couples/families looking for something nice in johor bahru area.

a rare french restaurant with delicious food and attentive, friendly service. the excellent and gracious chef is from lyon, the menu is very authentic, with brasserie favorites, and great steak selection. there is a lovely outdoor area. the main room is very comfortable, with a cigar and private dining rooms. we were welcomed very warmly and the staff pays close attention. a delicious and very pleasing dining experience.

The ambience was nice enough. Unfortunately we can't say the same about the food. Six pieces of escargots swimming in a puddle of garlic oil ... not exactly appetizing. Beef tartare obviously minced with a machine and was not to my liking and gave me a funny tummy. Steak had too much gristle. Wine list was overprice. It's one of the restaurants that you go to once to try. It's a real pity.

Our escargot, normally a favorite with our regulars, is cooked with homemade garlic & parsley butter. We understand that it may be too oily for your liking , so we would definitely recommend alternatives to suit your taste the next round. Also, please be assured that Les Bouchons' Beef tartare is always freshly hand-cut by our chef with knives. As for the steak and wine, we do have on-going promotions that we can recommend too.

Came here with my family to celebrate my son's birthday. Warm & friendly service,feels like we're dining at home. 10 star for the service!
The manager,Sherline explained the menu very well + pictures! We ordered the tomahawk,the meat just melts in your mouth & the seasoning is just perfection. Served with salad,fries & 4 types of sauces. Our son had the mac & cheese,also so so good!!!
We ended up ordering the lamb chop for takeaway because it looks so good. For dessert we had chocolate lava & they served it singing birthday song.
Thank you Les Bouchons for such a great night. We would definitely come again,much love from us ❤️

Simple comfort food with a great taste. Ordered the escargot and salad for starters and they were both very fresh and full of flavours.
The main course was Sirloin steak which was perfectly cooked (medium rare). The unlimited fries were not your usual frozen supermarket version, but definitely hand cut and made. Delicious!
Of course, to top it off, the friendliness of the staff, our server for the day, Janice was helpful and knowledgeable on the menu and able to recommend to us what would be good. Shuren, was also a friendly face and welcoming and feel like a friend after 5 minutes of bar talk.
Highly recommended and do make time to visit this gem of a place.
5 Stars earned.

Had a wonderful set lunch at this quiet tasteful restaurant tucked away at Teega Walk, near Puteri Harbour. Steak was deliciously done and the fish fillet was very tasty and fresh. Kudos to the great service offered by Romeo, the Asst Manager. Must Visit restaurant if you are in Johor as the set lunch is good value for money.

Have a pleasure evening over Les Bouchons. High quality of food and good services. We had a seat at the outdoor but the waiter will just come out a while after we finish the food and clean the table for us. The foods and drinks serve to our table in a very reasonable time. They even give us a little surprise by giving us a complimentary dessert after knowing is our anniversary.

Husband and I each ordered a set lunch. Lunch began with lovely warm mini baguettes. Onion soup was robust with chunks of sweet onion. Escargot was tasty and tender. Garden salad with walnuts was fresh. He enjoyed the lamb skewer medium done. I had black Angus sirloin which was a bit sinewy in part and tough to chew. Had a complimentary creme brulee which was delicious. Service was excellent. Overall an enjoyable meal and good value for money.
