We prebooked the window seat online and had their lunch set. The views was great and food was delicious. This place was also easy to find since it is located inside Royal Plaza Hotel.

Spectacular view of the Harbour and the Yokohama Bay at night! Very prompt and professional service. We had the Autumn menu in a private dinning area. All the courses were subtle but delicious in taste. Given it was an Autumn menu, the focus was on...fresh vegetables, flowers and the fruits from the season. Great selection of Sake. Very nicely done!More
Always visit Yokohoma have dining at this hotel , at 68 floor dining with very nice view of Yokohama Port and city , best Omakase , all served on the best raw material and cook very well.
On top of Yokohama, that is on the 68th floor of Landmark Tower, accessed via the Royal Park Hotel, you will find Shikitei, a gem of a Japanese restaurant. The view of the city is grand and the Japanese traditional cuisine--kaiseki--is exquisite. Yesterday's visit is...my fifth: always at lunchtime, since the price fits my budget at slightly more than 5000 yen. This time, March 27, was a few days before the full cherry blossom flowering, but that, too. was brought to our table in the form of delicacy served as flower arrangements celebrating spring. The seven-course lunch was such a delight, the best in my 70 plus years of my life. My cousin, sister and I all agreed that this visit will be remembered for the rest of our lives. Hats off to the chef and to all the kimono-clad ladies who served us. Spring has arrived!More
Beautiful view of the city, extraordinary Japanese Service, artistic presentation of every course and of course excellent taste. If you are in Yokohama check out this fine place in the Royal Park Hotel for a meal you will not forget
Amazing view accompanied our dinner. Great quality of food and very good service. The restaurant is very clean with friendly staff.
Met our friend who was a guest at the hotel and we decided to have Shabu-Shabu at Shikitei. We were quite pleased that the restaurant was able to accommodate us as we did not have a reservation. As we made our way to our allocated...seats, i noticed that all the tables along the window were occupied because the view of Yokohama from the 68th floor is really very nice. So if you want to enjoy your meal with great views, remember to call and book in advance. Our Shabu-Shabu meal was very good. The sake recommendation was excellent. One of the best sake i have tasted.More
Nice view from 68 floor. Good and friendly service, smart not to have wine only beer, vodka or whisky ( water) to food. Not so spicy but done with feeling Maybe not top notch but can cover a whole evening. Atmosphere a little simple, boring....Do not go 2 floors higher, another restaurand double price...More
Shikitei offers typical Japanese dishes. Superb city views, professional service but the flavor of the dishes i was not impressed. I hope for the better.
Our Japanese friends hosted us lunch and she secured us a window table. When we got to our table, we couldn't help but look out in awe. No one has a better view than this restaurant in Yokohama. We had the set menu and it...was beautifully presented and it was good. The service was outstanding. What a beautiful place to end my holiday in Japan.More
We went for my husband's birthday dinner with family. The service was perfect and the food was delicious. The view is fantastic. Try to go around sunset.
The restaurant is on the 85th floor of the hotel in the famous Landmark Tower building, probably about 5 minutes walk from the Sakuragicho train station. Had a business dinner here back in November. We made sure to reserve a table by the window so...the view looking out was outstanding. The set course tasting menu was well presented and delicious. Service was precise without feeling overbearing. Everything was done right as it should in a fine dining place. Look forward to return here next time in Yokohama area.More
We were taken to this restauran as guests. It is in the Yokohama Royal Park Hotel. Spend dome time in the lobby to see the dry land dock of years gone by that has been incorprated into the design of the new development. Our host...was a guide for the area so could point out some of the interesting historical nd architectural features in the area, including that the lift is the fastest or second in Japan as it smoothly takes you to the 68th floor. The views were amazing, definately sit by the window and if you can time your visit to take in both the naturally lit and night time views of the port area. The food was exquisitely presentedin a variety of ceramic dishes. There was a range of drinks (the wine was fairly limited and expensive), spirits juices and non-alcoholic beverages wre available. The Kaiseki consisted of 10 courses whch translated to: 1. Hors-d'oeuvre: sesame tofu (cold tofu exquisitely and delicately favoured with sesame), presented with intricate flowers 2. Appetizer: Three small dishes were (the fish dishes beautifully balanced and subtully flavoured), the first contained Ayu (Sweet Fish) with chilled rice porridge, the second Pike Conger and the third Japanese sour plum with syrup. 3. Clear Soup: This was a dish in itself, sake steamed Red Seabream, somen noodles, wax gourd and water shiled (which was a unique seasonal water growing plant, similar to water cress but with a clear gelantinous coating which gave it an amazing texture, it as brown in colour). 4. Sashimi: Seasonal assorted sashimi (presented inside a wafer thin piece of daikon, on a tiny ice tray, beautful with flowers etc. 5. (I was starting to full up by now, and only half way there). Grilled dish: Eggplant and sea urchin, (sounds horrid but was incredibly rich and creamy and not at all overpowered by seafood) 6. Simmered dish: Greenling, Ishikawakoimo and Taro. 7. Vinegared dish: Uzaku, Grilled Eel and cucumber. 8. Deep fried dish: (This was something I had never seen) Tempered sweetcorn which was amazing! and tiger shrimp. 9. Rice dish: (can't remember what this was accompanied with). Too full by now.... 10. Fruit: The sweetest mngo and watermelo I have ever tasted plus other seasonal fruits eloquently presented. If you can afford it I would definately recommend this restaurant for the impecibly presented and served fresh seasonal produce and the views. Yokohama is a great place to spend time exploring too. You have to book (even if from the lobby downstairs), reserve a window side table.More
