Excellent food. Extraordinary health and safety measures to avoid spreading of Covid-19 with innovative technology like the vinyl gloves automatic machine supplier. Very good service. A place to come back.

I decided to splurge and go to a "really good place", so I searched the net for such. The Brazilian BBQ place? Or how about the place I haven't tried near my new house...husband and wife French food place...2,700 yen for dinner. No, I'll splurge...and go for the 6,800 yen buffet at a fancy hotel..."Kitchen Stadium", roast beef with mashed potatoes, Parmesan pasta (oh, looked so good in the picture)...not going to eat lunch..hold out for dinner. Anyway, long story short, I was very disappointed. Hardly any mashed potatoes (truly, half a spoonful on the plate), the pasta, though prepared in front of you up at the so-called Kitchen Stadium (a round kitchen inside the buffet area, had no cheese taste at all. There was a weird cheese fondue area where you were supposed to boil your own radish, spinach, or lettuce (!) and then put cheese sauce on it. The dessert was poor. Nothing fresh. A soft ice cream machine at which the young man gave you a small dish of soft ice cream and you could put some sprinkles on it. The coffee was terrible...weak...you know, when you put a small amount of cream in it and it goes white...weak, flavorless. I got depressed after about 40 minutes into the 2-hour thing. I had really wanted to take my wife somewhere special. I will never go there again and would never recommend it to anyone. I truly cannot believe any good review of this place. I usually give places the benefit of the doubt, but I would give it a 1.5 if I could. Oh, and there was a hair in one of the cups we used. On a positive note, the atmosphere was nice, with a nice view of the ferris wheel. 13,600 yen for two of us could have been spent elsewhere (see any of my other reviews). Don't go...you won't enjoy it. Yokohama has too many other places that are better.More
Don't know if this actually counts as a review since we didn't even sit down. Used to come here often when it was Pan Pacific, made the mistake of trying it again shortly after a week of superb dining experiences in Dubai. Booked ahead since...it was a family celebration; turned up; place half empty; given worst possible table; asked to be moved; offered second worst possible table. Told all the other tables were taken (as if 20 or 30 other groups had specified exactly where they wanted to sit and we, upon booking, hadn't been given this opportunity). Asked to see manager. Not even a hint of any apology. Rude, incompetent, unfriendly, unsmiling, uncooperative, unwelcoming, maladroit. Food might just be lovely, though. Have our table - we won't be back.More
Used to go quite often when it was Pan Pacific but visited once when changed to Tokyu and it didn't quite cut the mustard. Decided to give it another go and was a worthwhile experience. Great carbonara, pizza and Roast Beef. The other hot dishes...were European and very tasty.More
I went there for a quick lunch and after reading review on trip advisor I was interested but the buffet spread and food taste was not up to my taste preference. It's on level 2 of Tokyo Bay Yokohama hotel and reasonably priced some 3600...JPY for buffet lunch. It's not a place where I will go again.More
This restaurant has countless number of dishes in buffet style for lunch. This is not a cheap, good deal buffet. It's an upscale, elegant buffet. Hot spaghetti is cooked on Parmesan cheese block. Seafood, vegetable, meat, dessert. You take any kinds of food and they...have multiple dishes for each. Reservation is almost a must.More
Attached to the hotel and breakfast is good there. Fresh eggs and good Japanese selection as well. But menu is the same everyday. That makes it boring
We had two wonderful breakfasts at the Cafe Tosca and the service was delightful....The juices were freshly squeezed and the fruit dishes were as fresh as the morning dew....We also had a delightful dinner at this restaurant and the choices were many...The wine list was...adequate and our food was first class.More
Went here for lunch. It is a buffet and has a very interesting selection: lamb stew, swordfish salad, Thai curry, Italian style pasta. Also, seasonal vegetables. All were very good. They have several stations where someone makes a dish in front of you, like a...cut of roast beef with mashed potatoes, or an omelette with rice. Their deserts are not the best, but everything was great!More
I would have preferred a larger selection of cheeses and meats for breakfast. They had the same food everyday. There are plenty of tables available, many of them for the solo business traveler. Ambience is unhurried. I was a little put off by the staff's...insistence that guests sterilise their hands before being seated (the assumption was that all our hands were dirty) and I saw that I was not the only one. Oh well, cultural quirks.More
At about $30 for a lunch buffet, I expected better food. The roast beef was so sinewy and tough...took a bite and left the rest. The omelette rice was good and the vegetable selections satisfactory, however, the rest was, meh. Wouldn't go here for lunch...ever again. Mediocre at best. I understand the real estate cost is at a premium in Japan but this place doesn't even have a decent view...More
It's located within Yokohama Bay Hotel Tokyu in Minatomirai area. The dinner experience is perfect accompany with live piano sounds and fresh selection of food the Way you prefer. Must know the restaurant Setup to enjoy it more. The environment is very good and the...service is great but the selection is limited for opened buffet menu. Staff are very helpful and the quality of food is high.More
The dessert cakes were really really good. But apart from that, for about 3500 yen each, the lunch buffet was definitely worth the price. Nothing was bad, but nothing was particularly great either.
That's all. I was looking forward to it. But there was no sign or indication it was closed. The hotel did a great job of hiding the entrance. There was no sign that it was closed. The other lobby restaurant is a disappointment. Especially for...breakfast. Do yourself a favor and head out of the hotel to the queens place or others. Easy to get to and tons of places to goMore
Until May 2013 they have a "food from New Zealand" buffet special, so the price is very expensive, about $45 for buffet dinner, or $35 for lunch. Good food though. You need to book for Sunday lunch and other peak times.
