We had the breakfast here it was a rather ordinary assortment of items. They did lack fresh fruit and only has melon and pineapple.

We were extremely disappointed. I was expecting good quality fresh seafood and amazing food choices. The best thing was the sushi. Apart from the salmon on the sushi there was no fresh seafood at all!!! Everything else was very average. The interior was drab and...tired. And with 2 beers each and taxes, the meal cost us about $230. Definitely not worth it.More
Lunch buffet is just ok because no sashimi and not many choices. However, the desserts are quite good. The price is reasonable by comparing with the restaurants nearby.
I’m not a buffet person. However this is no ordinary buffet. This is more of a gourmet buffet. We chose to come here as it’s one of the less expensive options at this hotel although it’s still pretty pricey. You’ll see things here that you’ll...find nowhere else. Yes, it can be busy but it’s dealt with well. If you prefer more Western style food there are plenty of selections of that type too. Even a child would be well catered for here. There are soups, salads, seafood, stir fries, noodles, different meats, cheese, fruit, desserts. Buffet breakfast is also served here. Again, expensive, but it’s also convenient. They serve a buffet breakfast of a smaller range but similar food, in the Italian Restaurant on the 2nd floor.More
Visited two times for breakfast . Nice staff , a big spread of both Japanese’s and western food. This place also buffet for lunch and dinner that I did not try. .The View is nice too ,overlooking the harbour
This was a great dining experience and does not have the feel of a buffet-style restaurant at all. The food is impeccably prepared, with several chefs making very detail preparations of appetizers, main dishes, and fabulous desserts.
After the first day Japanese breakfast I wanted a change - and also this was a good choice. Wide choice with mixed western and Japanese styled food. Good service for the (very good!) coffee as well.
This was our second stay at the InterContinental Yokohama Grand. We chose a room rate that included the breakfast buffet, which is one of the best in Japan. There is a mix of both Japanese and Western items. Since the buffet was included we didn't...worry about the price, but just gave them a ticket each time we dined. Then one evening we decided to try it for dinner. It was priced somewhat higher than nearby buffet, all-you-can-eat restaurants, which the Japanese call "Viking" (think "smorgasbord", although they pronounce it "Biking" (due to a lack of certain syllables in their language. Not only was the food selection excellent. There was a sushi chef making custom items on request. The quality and service were well worth their higher price, and then the violin player came out to serenade us. (Since Japan is largely a "no tipping" zone, there was no table hopping for song requests and tips.) The deserts were also excellent -- we had noticed how good the pastries were at breakfast. If you're in the area and want a nice uncrushed buffet with a beautiful view, check out the Ocean Terrace restaurant on the first floor of the InterContinental Yokohama Grand. You'll be glad you did.More
We ate breakfast and dinner here. My wife didn’t feel like going out of hotel for dinner so we just ate here. Title says it all and we are a family that likes to eat out and willing to pay for good food. This place...just isn’t worth it. Go across street and eat at world porters for 1/5 the cost and same quality food.More
The buffet spread, about 2500Y, is quite generous. Aside from Western dishes, there are a few Japanese and Chinese offerings as well. Besides the usual black coffee and tea, staff can make a cappuccino. Open from 6-10am, it offers the opportunity to indulge in breakfast...or lunch that is big enough to account for your sole big meal for the day:)More
This restaurant is on the first floor of the InterContinental, and if you choose the daily breakfast option, you eat here (there is a separate Japanese breakfast place on the the floor). This place has all the basics for an American breakfast, as well as...some Japanese food. This is clearly a hang out among the Japanese businessmen who stay at the hotel. At night time, it becomes a seafood buffet. The dinner is good too. It's not crazy like he Vegas buffets (after all, you're in Japan!) but the quality is good. Coffee and tea are included, but if you want other drinks (alcohol, mineral water, etc), you'll need to pay. If you're staying at the hotel, it's worth eating dinner there at least once.More
Located on the first level of the Intercontinental hotel. It is ideal for breakfast. They have a very large buffet with many options of dishes. Nicely decorated with many details. Price for buffet around $ 23. Recommended.
We had dinner and breakfast at this buffet and both were excellent, large variety of fresh tasty dishes
We wemt there for breakfast and were not disappointed. Their onsite baking operation churns out some very good stuff, like an authentic French Croissant. It was so flaking and full of butter you might think your were at your favorite cafe in Paris. Nothing dipped...below "good," could have been rated higher if kept at the right temp. The place deserves kudos for the large variety of offerings both Western and Japanese.More
If your exhausted, choose this one nothing going to wrong. Your going back to the room with so satisfied.
