Was impressed the first time I was there a few years ago and decided to bring my daughter there this time. It was ok.. but not wow wow. But the chef’s cooking is still something for the eyes to enjoy

In one word “delicious”. We went off the set menu and opted for the premium tenderloin. Everything is cooked in front of you. We began with a mini Caesar salad serviced with big cubes of delicious bacon. Followed with a course of M mushrooms and...More

Ukai Tei is a one-michelin star teppanyaki restaurant. It has several branches and I have eaten in the branches in Omotesando and Ginza. To start off, having a top chef cook the food in front of you in a private room is an honour not...More

We had a pleasant evening in this attractive restaurant. Service was attentive and polite. Pricing is extremely high. Kobe beef selection was probably consistent with other restaurants. However other entrees and appetizers were very expensive and portions minimal. Single asparagus spears at $20, Caesar salad...More

Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's
also a downtown area with shops that were founded over
a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury
boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza.
It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll
while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels,
world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a
collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular

A hundred-year-old zelkova beam and a mosaic wall. The restaurant, with its array of Japanese and Western antique furniture, has an atmosphere where art-nouveau and Japanese style meet, and it is just like a museum. Not only does the counter feature a hot griddle arranged in a circle ? designed in the image of the deep sea ? but so do the private rooms, where your dedicated chef cooks in front of you.
