Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Exceeded our expectations for a ramen shop! The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, the space is clean and comfortable, and the food is so incredibly delicious. I had a refreshingly light yet flavorful yuzu broth ramen with the best thick and chewy noodles I’ve...ever had, and my husband had the standard shoyu ramen which was perfection. We both agreed that this was the best ramen we have ever had, and will definitely be coming back to try more dishes here. You can’t go wrong with anything here!More

I am so thankful I found reviews for this gluten free ramen and tried it out. Comes with egg and chicken and veggies in a delicious broth with brown rice noodles. It was probably the best gluten free meal I’ve had in Japan. This is...a must-stop if you are gluten free! Note- it is kind of hard to find, behind the staircase so just show someone the name and they’ll likely be able to direct you. Enjoy!More

After having loved the amazing veggie ramen at this Tokyo Station branch of Soranoiro, I finally made the step to break through that barrier and go for the vegan ramen. This is one of the most visually striking dishes of ramen ever. Absolutely mad with...colours and unexpected items. But not only colours, as it tastes fabulous. The soup is made with a base of shoyu (soy sauce) and kombu, giving us the right rainbow of umami flavours to envelop so well the crunchiness of the colourful toppings that complement the great, thin, quite rustic, wheaty noodles. The toppings include crisp purple turnips, fried tofu, fresh greens - I mean SUPER fresh, as they are still crunchy under the soup - and cherry tomatoes, which do not apply the same effect as they do on the creamy veggie ramen. I don’t particularly like yellow peppers in general, but this whole dish was so good that I could not care less. It’s a perfect dish of ramen. But vegan is too much for me. I do not profess the vegan faith and I am fundamentally against it. So I could not resist and I pressed the buttons at the ticket machine for extra toppings, which included the amazing, gorgeously sweet ramen egg and a couple of slices of pork! Extra points for the kitchen for accepting the challenge. I can come back here anytime while at the station.More

This place is located inside Tokyo station in the basement level. There are a cluster of Ramen restaurants together. It hard to find but I was able to locate the restaurant after a good deal searching and using the picture. I had lots of Ramen...in Japan and really liked this one. The broth was yummy!!More

The Ramen was outstanding. They have vegan and vegetarian friendly options which is always a plus with my vegetarian husband. The dipping noodles was delicious and the broth exceptional.

The restaurant was on “ramen street” inside Tokyo Station. It was very difficult to find because there are so many ramen restaurants there. Luckily they had a gluten-free banner outside. I quickly realized that I had to use the machine outside to order. The soup...was delicious and is also available for vegans. The host who seated me was very friendly. Highly recommended!More

Sora no iro is a great alternative to long waits in line for over-hyped joints nearby. I quite enjoyed my decision to come here, not particularly because of good ratings or because I seek vegetarian food. But this Veggie Ramen was a super visually-attractive array...of hues and flushes in that unique orange-coloured bowl. No less than eight toppings, if I can recall carrots, cabbages and barley with some pesto (the almost forgettable ones); the lovely tomatoes, the unusually sweet-flavoured broccoli and the [katsuo] well-scented eggs (the great ones): and those treasures that make the whole experience so alluring that you want to come back for more: the gorgeous sweet potatoes and the super crisp and flavor-packed deep-fried lotus roots. Nice soup and a decent result for the noodles unique recipe, but nothing beats those lotus chips. Electing a vegetarian ramen was a big step for me, but now I am prepared (I think) to go even further and try the vegan ramen next time, perhaps with an extra order of pork.More

Our family went to this place looking for vegetarian Ramen and we found a few good options..we tried them for dinner a few times during our Tokyo stay and the food was consistently good..the quantity was great, quality and speed of service was also good.....Being in the Tokyo station in Ramen street was awesome for us after a long day of sightseeing and getting back to base in Tokyo( we were staying very close to Tokyo station). If you want quick service, economical rates and good quality Ramen(vegetarian as well)..this is the place to go. cleanliness can be improved a bit and maybe a couple of more veg choices would have been nice as well..More

We went here to get vegan and glutenfree ramen. There were a couple of vegan options, only one of them glutenfree, so I chose that one. It was okay, but could have been a bit spicier. Luckily there were spices at the table. My companion’s...vegan ramen (not glutenfree) was excellent. So if you’re looking for vegan ramen, this might just be the place for you. Also, you got a free smoothie for posting on Instagram. ;)More

Let me begin by saying I love Ramen, but it’s one of those few things that it’s really hard to get gluten free (GF). Last time we were in Japan (2015) GF Ramen was a misnomer. Later that same year I discovered a sort of...GF ramen substitute at Ippudo in New York, which is good but not quite ramen-enough and not available at all Ippudo’s outlets - even in the US. Fast forward to 2019, first night back in Japan and we went to try out Soranoiro Nippon. A place that not only does GF Ramen but has multiple types, and genuinely understands what gluten free means. And, to top it off, both the GF and the traditional ramens were DELICIOUS!! A shout also goes out for the lovely service!! If you’re in Tokyo Station looking for ramen Soranoiro Nippon is a great option! Many ramen shaped stars! 🍜🍜🍜🍜🍜More

We walked around in the Tokyo Ramen Street (which took us a while to find its location!) with our hungry stomachs, to find long queues outside of almost all the brands. Soranoiro has a much shorter queue, so we thought why not give it a...try. It didn't disappoint us. For us who are not eating ramen day-in day-out, we don't really have the tongues to distinguish the slightest difference of flavors from different brands. For us, Soranoiro offers good ramen. It tastes great and we like it. Staff was friendly and helpful with sitting down our young kids in the small shop.More
