We were a bit suspicious that it might be a tourist trap. But the quality of the food was very high. The samurai burger was fun for the younger people in our group, and everyone enjoyed the experience. Great service. You can ask for a...More

Excellent food. Very attentive staff (all speak very fluent English). Great atmosphere. Very much out of the way of main touristy area which was great! If you’re in Kyoto and want a great meal I’d thoroughly recommend!

The food was very enjoyable and staff is very nice. Owner is Japanese who studied in UK, hence English is spoken well. While we were there most guests were international.

You would have to contact the restaurant directly. If you're arriving in Kyoto before the sixth, call the restaurant, they speak English very fluently and will be able to take your booking.
