Went for an early dinner, so restaurant wasn't busy so got good quick. Unfortunately food quality and portion sizes were disappointing given the pricing Barramundi was soggy in the middle served with a minuscule salad. Gnochi and shellfish was terribly over cooked and rubbery On the plus side oysters were fresh and the wine and beer selection was good

Our family often go to Wahoo for lunch and we love the excellent tenderness of the calamari, the tasty salads that accompany the crunchy fishcakes and the spring rolls, the fish and chips are very nice too. Our kids love to eat there! Good place!

My partner and I had a late lunch (about 3pm) and sat in the outdoor area with the beach view! 2 huge, fresh oysters each, fish burger, calamari salad (generous portions) with 2 drinks ended up being about $25 each! Service was great and it definitely hit the spot!

Busy fish n chip shop. Not quite efficuent. After you order, you get told its a 40 minute wait due to a lot of phone orders. Service not quite up to scratch but they have a stranglehold on the F&C market in Peregian. The fish, potato scallops and chips were good quality.

Lovely lunch with a glass of wine for $20 three choices. Lovely customer service very attentive. Quick service never waited long at all. Son had kids meal which was tasty if a little expensive. We had fish cakes and tacos which were both fresh and tasty.

This seafood restaurant sells takeaway meals as well as dine in. Our dine in experience was mediocre in the sense that customer service was below par for a restaurant revered for excellent food. Our meal was lovely but very slow service. our take away meals have been not to a high standard especially for the general expectation of this magnificent... More

I know I keep banging on about my favourite local restaurant, but today they have outdone themselves. Went for a birthday lunch, beautiful sunny day. Sue the waitress is a gem. Bright and bubbly, quick to refill your glass or replace your napkin. Coffin Bay oysters fantastic. Bream and Greek salad with tasty smashed potatoes. The salt and pepper calamari... More

Wow, was this a great find. It is a seafood restaurant, so being allergic to seafood, (the grandsons wanted to eat here) plus my being gf and DF I didn't think I would be able to get a meal. The lady that looked after us was terrific, and so was the Chef. He made me a great chicken stir fry... More

Called in here by chance and was delighted with both the service and food. Had fish of the day which was bream. Had it grilled with mashed baked potatoes and a Greek salad. Somehow fitted in a dessert each of ricotta donuts and Khalsa mousse. Food was very good and woman waiting tables was helpful and lovely.

Popped in here on Sunday night! It was a trifle busy and seemed VERY popular with travellers and locals alike. The monthly originals park band gathering was wrapping up in the peregian park and hungry park band goers made their way for a feed! Outside the shop... Lots of fun and chatter as people waited for their freshly cooked fish... More

Description
Located on the Sunshine Coast in the lovely shopping village at Peregian Beach, Wahoo Seafood Restaurant and Takeaway has been providing great food to the area for nearly 13 years. You can dine in at our restaurant overlooking the square or under the majestic pandanus tree, and select from the many lovely lunch or dinner options. The a la carte menu changes with the seasons but we like to keep many of the customer favourites ... and we serve more than seafood. Our takeaway is constantly busy serving the popular: a variety of fish, calamari and chips. Our customers absolutely love the Barramundi spring rolls and the tasty homemade fish cakes. Many people purchase their food and have a picnic in the lovely Peregian Square. BYO or select from our wine list.
