Wu Long Shan Zhai, or Black Dragon Mountain Village is a chain restaurant, and they have quite a few branches in Zhangjiajie, Changsha, and Shenzhen, etc. During our three day tour in Zhangjiajie, we had one lunch at one of their branches in Wuling District,...which is about 1 kilometer from the Zhangjiajie National Forrest Park. We liked the food there very much as it's not as oily as most other local restaurants. When I saw this branch of Wu Long Shan Zhai near the Cable Car station of Tianmen Mountain, I decided to try it too, which turned out to be a great decision. This branch of Wu Long Shan Zhai is brand new, which only started operation about 10 days ago. It's on the 2nd floor of a commercial development, Hua Tian Golden Street, which is only 200 meters away from the Cable Car station. The restaurant is very clean, comparing to most local restaurants. Kitchen is very efficient, and our dishes were served quickly. Food is better than the other local restaurants we tried. What we liked the most is the service. Our server was very polite and patient, and she recommended some good dishes for us. When we finished our dinner, we noted it's raining heavily outside, so we asked a cashier to call us a taxi. It's around the time when the restaurant is about to close and they were about to leave work, but both the cashier and our server waited patiently for about 15 minutes. Our server event run into the rain without an umbrella to confirm it's our taxi. We really appreciate that they went extra mile for doing this. When we go to Zhangjiajie next time, I would definitely go back to this restaurant.More
