This place exceeded our expectations! It was quite flash inside with stunning views so we thought it must be pricey... but no, the menu had lots to choose from (also for a vegetarian) and it was very reasonable. We sat outside in the corner on...a double swinging seat which we found hard to leave! The air was fresh, the sun was shining, the views of the green valley below were beautiful and we received excellent service. For 10JD total we had a creamy mushroom soup, bread with olive oil and Za'atar (yum), a tomato/onion pan (needed more salt & garlic but ok) with bread, a chicken shawarma - which was actually 2 wraps, fries and coleslaw (all v tasty) and a potato sandwich which was french fries with a garlic mayo in a wrap (simple but surprisingly tasty!), served with coleslaw. This was a lot of food! We didn't eat dinner as we were so full from this lunch! In addition we also ordered a milkshake (3.50) and a fresh mango juice (2.5) which was delicious. The service was perfect - not pushy but very attentive with someone coming out to check on us a few times during the visit. We were also given complimentary dessert - a kind of rice pudding. I was too full to eat it but hubby loved it and ate mine too. Menu is all in English and Arabic so even though not all staff speak English you can be understood. Chef has great English and came out to help with the order when we arrived - he was a lovely friendly and fun guy. We can highly recommend this place. If I had a book with me I would have stayed here all afternoon!More
