The cafe tries to offer good quality food. The atmosphere is convivial. I loved the chair coat hangers. Breakfast is really well done with high quality produce especially the eggs, bacon and bread. The waitress is friendly and helpful.

Fair price for what you get, substantial meals. Staff friendly, really nice breakfast and good desserts. Gets busy at lunchtime

We went for a lunch whilst visiting the town. Friendly and helpful service. Good and substantial Irish food. Generous portions. I would recommend this place to get a good feel of the town and the local cuisine.

I was traveling last week and found myself in Carrick at my 4 o clock slump....badly needed a coffee. I spotted Café west .... looked lovely outside and inside.... so I sat down. The staff were lovely , the coffee was great and I treated...myself to an Eton Mess ... just what I needed .. it was fab, I’ll be backMore

Visited on Dec. 24th 2018 - three adults & two kids. I had the Cafe West panini with chips and salad - great combo and really tasty. We were all happy. I go to this cafe every time I visit family just outside the town....Consistently good. Friendly service.More

My husband n I went here for lunch .We had chicken panini n chicken sandwich both were lovely very tasty .Chips n salad great lovely dressing on salad .Staff were very nice n helpful .Really nice cafe windows decorated lovely for Christmas .

Overall ok . If you are looking for average food and a just about reasonable price this is your place . Carrick isn't know for it's food but there are better places , however they tend to be more pricey . Desserts were just about...average and the savoury was fine. Wouldn't go there for great food but isnt the worst in the town.More

Can't give enough praise to this gem of a restaurant...The food was fabulous as was the service The were also very accommodating they don't normally open on Thursday evenings but did for us a group of 12 we had the restaurant to ourselves which was...a treat...you can also bring your own wine... everyone in the group loved it...can't wait to go back again...Well done Fergus AnnMarie & Amy....we will be back..More

We arrived in Carrick on Suir late for lunch and very hungry. The food here was delicious. Home-cooked and plenty of it. Wholesome. Reasonably priced for a lunch plate. The waiting staff were very pleasant and most helpful. From inside the restaurant we couldn’t hear...the two loud music blasting up and down the Main Street. This was a relief indeed! Thank you for a lovely dinner and we will be back.More

I’ve eaten here every few months and always look forward to going back. Chef Fergus never disappoints. One of the gems of the Sunny South East.

This place looks good from the outside but I was not overly impressed by anything inside. Not the decor, not the menu, not the prices. I would not rush back here, sorry.
