Very impressed with everything - service, atmosphere, friendliness. Sean was a fantastic host doing his best in very difficult circumstances and certainly making us feel very secure with his Covid Compliance Measures. Don't understand the comment about puny portions we both dined and one of...us had the fish and chips, certainly not a puny serving and the fish was perfectly cooked. Can not recommend Lukers bar/restaurant highly enough and hope to visit again in the future. Good Luck to Sean and his team.More

To Mr Amazeballs who left that damning review about the cod and chips at least be honest, my husband and I both had that today and was accompanied by side salad, mushy peas and delicious tartar sauce. Did you really have to provide a run-...down of where you previously ate, you and your trip on the river, go back to Dublin, you probably didn't have a table booked, knob!!More

Popped into Lukers on Friday evening on the final stretch of our Shannon & Lough Derg cruise. After been treated to many wonderful meals along the many villages dotted along the Shannon shoreline, this was certainly not a "best till last" situation. Beer battered cod...= 2 micro bite sized pieces of fish and a small handful of chips. Lasagne = laugh out loud. I'm not the biggest guy, but still hungry, I ordered a portion of chicken wings (€8!!!). Well I nearly choked on one of the 5 wings when the main server (possibly the owner) asked me if we didn't have enough to eat in the main course. Surprised not to have read more reviews with similar comments. A disaster.More

Great views of the river, nice food and drink with very attentive and welcoming staff. Their Irish Coffees are great too. I'd definitely recommend Lukers to anyone passing through Shannonbridge.

Food was nice and staff were friendly. However, none of the staff serving us wore face masks or kept any sort of distance from us.

This was our first visit out following the Covid-19 lockdown - and what a pleasure it turned out to be. We had to book our table for lunch in advance and observe all the social distancing rules - no difficulty with any of that. The...lunch menu was standard fare and prices were reasonable. Fish and chips, chicken goujons and burgers were ordered and all went down very well. Desserts of profiteroles, ice cream and assorted pies soon followed. And, of course, pints of creamy Guinness - first pints of the post lockdown period. Service was friendly and quick and prices not to break the bank. A very good day outMore

We decided to visit Clonmacnoise so diverted off the motorway. We spotted Lukers besides the River Shannon. We stopped in for a coffee and a quick look at their new facilities. The Boatyard looks top class and a great spot for a gathering especially when we...get shot of this pesky virus. The coffee was great, the surroundings were lovely. We were just sorry we didn't have more time to linger a little longer.More
