We went in for some food as this place is known for its steak! Oh my god, I just happened to go into the toilet before we ordered and discovered holes in the ceiling and walls with black mould creeping along the walls and roof! The smell was vile, needless to say we didn't have food and left our drinks,... More

We have been twice with our children on the recommendation of others but were definitely not welcomed with young children. No high chairs which made it difficult for everyone. Thank goodness we were the only ones there otherwise we would've had to leave. The steak was good but have had much better for a lot less. Maybe we picked the... More

Saturday evening drinks and a meal with my wife and a few friends. This is one of those catacomb types pubs, loads of small narrow rooms connected, it has a good atmosphere, comfortable but not modern, stuck in 70's but clean and friendly. Great atmosphere in this pub, Olympics on the telly contributing to the banter. This is a good... More

An ordinary little village pub on the outside that holds a fabulous culinary surprise inside. Ryans is very well known for its good steaks, since I was there last there are a few little changes that were for the good. New modern plates, white table cloths and a better table layout, it used to be a bit cluttered. The decor... More

This must be the best steak available in Meath, the fillet is very large and perfectly cooked, I also recommend the gammon steaks, they are conistantly good

My Mum and I visited here a few times. Their steak is amazing as well as their fries!! The staff are very friendly and good to talk too also! The decor is slightly dated but to be honest it doesn't really matter as they got the food and the service just right!

I visited here with my family two weeks ago for a birthday party. The Ryans steaks are the stuff of legends and this hasnt changed. I ordered a 10oz Sirlion and with the chips, veg and potato and sauce it came to 20 euro which I felt was very reasonable. The waitress was run off her feet and the portions... More
