Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

we had breakfast here this morning 7/8/22,toast came out as warm bread, not toast,my black and white pudding was just fried on one side, just pure raw, sausages were just dipped in hot oil,raw in the middle, grease all over the plate. The meal was just horrible, the chef seems to...have no intrest in cooking on a sunday morning, needless to say ,we will not be going back, place is clean and price is good ,but no more uncooked food for usMore

Last minute family meal out on a Thursday evening. I rang ahead to book a table and it was no issue getting one which we were so delighted about. 3 course meal for 3 people and drinks came to total 120€, a superbly priced meal....Everything was so fresh and cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend the scampi and saute garlic potatoes! Delicious. Great to see the restaurant busy with people of all ages! This restaurant also offers takeaway at different times. We will definitely be back.. something on the menu for everyone. A huge credit to the staff too who are so welcoming and nothing was any bother to them.More

I dropped into the Valley Inn with some American tourists today, they were very impressed with the service, the quality of the food and the value for money and have asked to return again before they go home. The waitress and barman were friendly, and...very efficient.More

Had a wonderful night for my father in laws 80th birthday party. Food was excellent from start to finish. A special mention to the brilliant Jenny who looked after us so well on the night. It was a large party and the whole night went...off without a hitch. Nothing was too much trouble for Jenny who made sure we all had a great experience. Highly recommend!More

Friendly staff. Food absolutely lovely, best steak in and around Dundalk. Love the chocolate fudge cake, the side of ice cream even comes with a flake. A nice extra touch to it 😊 we will definitely be back, highly recommended.

This was our first time stopping here for breakfast on one of our group rideouts. The breakfast was excellent, the surroundings were nice and well kept and the toilets spotless. Good car park too with proper tarmacadam surface. We would definitely re-visit.

After eating in another local restaurant and feeling like we were paying big city prices for a meal and a few drinks we decided to try The Valley Inn. We were absolutely delighted we did. Everything is just right. The staff, the facilities, the restaurant,...the bar and most importantly the food! Staff were friendly and super helpful. We weren’t charged an arm and a leg for a beautiful meal, this will be our place to eat out from now on.More

Arrived at 3.15pm. Ate 2 course meal and had two rounds of drinks and was asked to leave a hour and fifteen minutes later as they wanted my table for someone else. I looked around the restraunt to find that there was only two other...tables in use and approximately 25 tables free. There is no limit in dining at the minute in this country. The service was extremely poor and unprofessional but the food was good. Thankfully there was a saving graceMore
