Loved the little village. Especially seeing the Irish Wolf Hounds and sweet bog ponies. The Irish coffees and our lunch were excellent. I didn’t think the prices were outrageous.

My wife and I called in on our way home after completing the ring of Kerry. We were worried we might be too late getting back to Killarney for food. This seemed to be the only place for miles so unfortunately we called in. The...meal was terrible. It reminded me of the school dinners that were thrown at me back in my youth. Tasted awful, presented awful, overpriced. Do they not realise places like this eventually will fade away. You can't keep serving up rubbish like this and ripping people off something has to give. As someone said maybe it's their location no competition. Next time I'll drive on back to Killarney.More
Stopped here on a Ring of Kerry tour and after meeting the two wolfhounds Patrick and Brian we ventured inside for a Bailey's coffee which was the best one of the entire trip. Would definitely recommend if in the area!
Went in here today for lunch got 2 sandwiches and 2 coffees got charged 1650 I never saw anything so bad it was busy no covid regulations were being adhered to at all everyone standing around talking and no one wearing a mask no social...distancing whatsoever everyone shaking hands NO ONE took our name and phone number for contact tracing shocking in this day and age we ate the dreadful sandwiches drank half d coffee which was OK and just ran out of itMore
During a group tour of Ireland we stopped at The Red Fox Inn for a comfort break. We had both the Irish Coffee and the Bailey's Coffee and both were delicious and perfect for a quick pick-up for the day. The cream was so creamy...and perfectly whipped so really made the drink. The staff was very friendly and efficient in serving a larger group. Gift shop had a nice selection of Irish souvenirs and easy for a quick purchase.More
Ate here with family, had the curry, very small portion and it was overly priced, and if that wasn't all it was o donnells curry that was served to me, I'm a chef and paying 14euro for packet curry was the most disappointing, I had...4 pieces of chicken and 2 pieces of peppers on my plate, on what was possibly a child's plate, too bad if I had an actual dinner I probably would not have been forced to put up this review, but what I got was not acceptable! I wasn't the only one on the table that had the curry! The portions were tiny, wouldn't feed a child!More
Stopped here today for breakfast, ordered 2 full Irish. When our food arrived sausages were cold, rashers were undercooked, eggs over cooked underneath to the point of being inedible. Tomatoe was uncooked and puddings were barely warm. The one positive was the tea and toast....The staff never came around to ask if everything was alright, very disappointing. The restaurant wasn’t busy at the time, when ordering we expected that breakfast would be cooked to order, but this was obviously precooked and plated. Will not be returning.More
We absolutely loved our dinner at the Red Fox Inn. We had the soup of the day, steak burger and roast chicken meal, all of which were delicious and went down a treat. The cheesecake dessert was also really tasty. We sat outside and the...views were absolutely stunning. The staff were also extremely friendly, accommodating and up for a chat. We will definitely be coming back, a wonderful pub.More
